This.

Completely missed that she would earn a load less in Swindon if she could even get a job there.

Yet again I thank the clever nerd who thought up the mute button on my tv remote, judicious use of said button in eliminating said "Labour women" from the program has made this a very watchable program...

Question is why didn’t the panel suggest that she move to somewhere more affordable?

I’d love to live in let’s say Monaco or whatever but guess what it’s expensive not affordable but countless other cheaper places exist even the £1 house in the Liverpool triangle if you fancy it.

When asked about her selection for candidate, gobby Laura volunteered the info that she was on a list of women only. Blimey, if she was the best...

Did she now? She was the only person on the shortlist, she was parachuted in from the centre, over the heads of the local party after she was voted out of her position on a neighbouring Council. The local party were pretty pissed off with it.

She also pretended to live round the corner from me so she could claim to be a local, while deriding her opponent (who actually grew up in the Constituency) for living in Surrey.

It's characters such as that Laura P. that really worry me, should Labour come to power. Can you imagine a cabinet featuring John "The Marxist" McDonnell, Dianne Abbot, Angela "one GCSE" Rayner, Rebecca "my name is posh but I'm not" Long-Bailey, and now Laura "people dying on the street" Pidcock? Jeremy Corbyn looks almost bearable against that lot.

I know the current Tory cabinet isn't perfect, but sheesh!

What is it about the current crop of Labour females? They're shrill yet shouty, and strident yet terminally thick.

Like a lot of Labour Party cannon fodder, she seems to live in a land
where the magic money tree cannot be eradicated.

Emily Thornberry, Owen Jones and a few others are easily dealt
with in my household by muttering the magic phrase "Nice idea,
but how do you propose to pay for it?" after each of their pronouncements.

The Labour Party are always very keen on spending money, indeed
a Labour administration will normally finish by running out of money.

They would look more credible if they spent 10% of their time
figuring out how to earn all the money they plan to spend.

If you ever fancy a laugh, have a look at RLB's comments in parliament committee meetings and debates, found in hansard, she is thick as mince.

Thanks for the info, just saying what she said. Was that the 'list' or the 'short list'?. She also said her competitors on the list were excellent applicants. Your reported history of her sounds about right for what's happening, and getting much worse, for the party. Reminds of Socialist Workers Party infiltration and D. Hatton in Liverpool.

Afshin has got serious guts to go on this show in the current climate, its hard to see how he isn't going to get a hard time over RT. Apart from anything else its a diversion from Brexit which at least 3 of that panel are going to go full on attack against the government (hint the 3 in the middle).
