Well the insinuation was that she has held her position for over 30 years just because shes a black female, it’s certainly condescending at the very least
She has held that position for some reason, why do you think it is? I would think it is more to do with her doting on Corbyn over the years.

Do you think she would be a good Home Secretary for our country?

Looking at everyone in the Labour government do you think she is the best person for the job? Is she the best of the best in the Labour party?
She’s not my MP, maybe ask some of her constituents if she’s doing a good job? Theyve voted her in for iver 30years, I’ve already stated I’m not a fan of hers.

Equally I can see why you hate her smile
Because you've convinced yourself he's a racist?

People hate her because she is profoundly thick.
She graduated from Cambridge, and had a long successful career in politics, she’s not thick, she shoots her mouth off, prone to a gaff and has some pretty questionable ideas, but she’s not profoundly thick.

Yeah, that's clear, and Jezza hasn't had power for all of her career, (pundit with Brillo for so long), so she was capable at one point. I don't know if she has had issues. But she doesn't seem that great today. I think she isn't who she once was.

The first teo points are facts not opinions, but yes you’re allowed to to think what you want if her don’t think its been stated otherwise

She doesn't, and never has, really got to know the issues that she needs to know deeply enough to talk about properly.
You can tell this as she never speaks succinctly about anything.
She ignores the questions being asked and redirects, as does Corbyn, Rebecca Long Bailey and many of the others in Labour.
That may not make you thick, but it does make you look stupid.

Now, maybe they have it right, tell the truth and you will alienate vast swathes of your voters, but I would rather hear what people truly mean even if I think "tt" afterwards. Tom Watson and even McDonnell at least say what they really think rather than dodging the issue.

I too was really impressed with Fiona Bruce - quite combative but even handed.

I agreed about Anand: quite measured, but wish he would ditch the earings and become a real professor (whatever happened to those BTW?)

Rory to the Tory's my local MP and even the reds like him around here - a proper statesman.

Isobel - lovely but not much input last night

Abbott - good grief what can anyone say, dense beyond belief??
Other than diversity box ticking - what does Abbott bring to the table? If she worked in the private sector she'd be long gone.
I’m no fan but she has been democratically elected as an MP since 1987 I believe.
Right wing Tories in 'I hate black female labour MP's' shocker.
I don't think there is much hatred that's she's black or actually female
I think there is intense mockery of her and a lot of name calling
Mostly it stems from her completely shambolic performances. This woman is one of the do as I say not as I do brigade
Her hypocrisy is incredible for me even for modern day politics
She has on many occasions unnecessarily criticised the police - that happens
But tis is the SHADOW HOME SECRETARY she is just potentially an election away from becoming home secretary. If she acts as she has so far then the police forc e will hardly be encouraged
The woman is an embarrassment just as much as Angela Raynor is an embarrassment
She is frequently out of her depth and opens herself up to ridicule

Do they hate black female conservative MP Kemi Badenoch?

Perhaps you could draw a Venn diagram?

Would you settle for 'impossibly dense'?

Oddly she was on an old episode of The Chase the other week and I was staggered how smart she was vs. the "thick as mince" version we seem to see recently.

I wonder if there's something medical going on and I mean that genuinely.

That said I'm not sure pieces like this help https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jan/18/d...

I haven't watched last nights Question Time yet but I'd be shocked if there's any truth in this.

Playing the racism and sexism card is her go to rebuttal to anything she doesn't like.

Fiona Onasanya isn't far behind and she even brings religion into it for the hat trick!

I feel that she has some medical problems too, although she's not obliged to go public with them.

Not sure how she can play the racism card when there was an Asian prof on the panel, and theyve had countless Black and Asian panellists in the past who haven't been roundly criticised like she was. It had nothing to do with colour, she had absolutely no substance in any of her responses .

Fine by me. The travel budget is sufficient I believe.

What port do you want me to pick you up from, in the Type 45 loaded with coke and hookers?

Your word, not mine.

Fairly typical of your kind of left though, what with the labelling and all.

Much more than a whiff.

smile
Yes it is my word. And the fact that you think I'm "left" simply because your boorish attacks on her have a whiff about them when in fact I vote anything but "left" confirms that you also can't see past your predetermined bias. biggrin
