Good luck with that. Looks increasingly likely now we wont leave without a deal. Parliament are taking back control and wont let it happen. A50 will be extended no doubt beyond 2019.
Remind me, weren't you one of the people saying that the public were overwhelmingly in favour of a Second Referendum, and that Parliament would be delivering it any moment?

@ Troll, Thank You

Labour are unelectable.
You know this in your heart but for some reason have to keep up the pretence.

If they were electable, I’d seriously think about voting for them, and I have never voted in a GE since 1987.

Delingpole is a mess.

Why do most of the guests on the show appear not to have rehearsed their arguments before going on?
So even if rehearesd what is the answer to Neils Lamb export question and the 40% tariff if we have no deal?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-44384751

“But, with 92% of Welsh lamb exports sold to EU countries, there could be a very painful divorce around the corner, with one farmer saying this could be "a bit of a honeymoon period".
As members of the EU's single market and customs union, Welsh lamb exports to France or Germany face no import or export taxes and no checks at the border. A failure to reach a UK-EU trade deal could see Welsh lamb products face tariffs of more than 40%.”

Me neither. Expect another 20 point gain for Labour when the election is eventually called. Thank fook this is the last Tory government. Just a matter of time.
I don't see it.
You probably didn't last time either...

If we've learnt one thing since that election, it's that there's a serious dearth of any talent within the Tory party which makes a Labour government all but a given. Name one Tory MP who is capable of running a successful election campaign.
I didn't see what last time? At the last GE, Labour lost. Despite the Tories shooting themselves in every limb.

You are right, I would struggle naming a Tory MP to do that. But then I would struggle across all colours in the HoC.

Haha. Andrew Neil can be alright. He just tore a new back passage in the WTO hard Brexiter bloke. Showed him up for not knowing what he was talking about. Played.
Under what circumstances is AN "alright"? When he agrees with you? wink

He's a class act. Well researched and sharp normally.

The first bit yes I did and am right, the second I don't know when/If it will happen.

Not Sure I follow your logic. If they were unelectable they wouldn't be ahead in several polls. A lot of people in this country believe they are electable.

The fact that they are not ahead in ALL polls just shows what a quality outfit they are.

Mid term. Tory government have just lost their key vote by 230. How much st do the Tories have to be in before Labour get into an indisputable lead?

Such childish certainty.
And it's up to the other 27 EU members to agree (yes, that includes Macron) - and the EU have said it could only be extended for good reason, not merely to allow for more negotiation.
Verhofstat said that in any event it could not be extended beyond the EU elections at the end of May.
It might actually not be a bad idea if it was extended beyond November as both Juncker and Tusk will have been replaced by then.

If by some sleight of hand it was extended beyond the end of May, do you think the UK should elect members to its parliament ?

Just coincidence Andrew Adonis and Owne Jones wanted to get him the sack from the BBC because they perceived him as pro Brexit. Dolt Corbyn types show themselves as hypocrites again....

Another 20 point swing when an election is called will see to that no problem. The only thing the Tories have going for them is a lot of leavers believe one corner of the party's Brexit rhetoric. That can't last forever. They're more split than ever and some of the clever ones even admitting how damaging this Conservative government has been to our people.

Yes. There should be British voices looking out for British interests in Brussels.

See there's a problem with that...

Mid term governments usually fall out of favour, for whatever reason. The opposition ride high in the polls (high, not even) because 1) they represent change and 2) they can play all their best cards without actually having to do anything.

When elections come around, the gap (remember Labour have no gap) is narrowed as people revert to their risk averse ways and tend to stick with the status quo rather than take a chance on the new regime (once they find out who's going to pay for all the shiny stuff they've been promising).

It's not uncommon for double digit opposition leads mid term, iirc even Miliband managed that! And that lead is wiped out come election time. So the likelihood is your swing will actually go the other way.

Which will be a bit of a bummer for you.

Please watch this 2 minute video of a complete idiot, a master Brexiter champion of the cliff fall - 0f course, personally insulated from any fallout from a no deal hard Brexit himself.

Watch him nonchalantly and vaguely admit that 'we'll take a hit' from it.(which he notably didn't state during the campaign).

Witness him look on in absolute perplexed horror as he is asked questions on what happens with trade and tariffs on WTO terms, and then admits he cannot answer.

Join in the exasperated laughter of Femi at the end, until you feel utterly depressed that its privileged, braindead idiots like Dellingpole who are making sizeable amounts of cash to comment on this hard Brexit that they have influenced and engineered despite having no clue how it will impact us.

These are the people the media have let loose to get us to this point and they are cashing in, and don't care what happens to me and you.

That wasn't his finest hour. Owen Jones is a dick of the highest order, but AN let him get under his skin.

That said, when someone's 2ft away from you spouting irrelevant (to the topic at hand) bks incessantly I suspect even Mother Theresa would snap. It seems to be a modern tactic used to shout down an opposing view. Happens on here a lot.
