Glad it was an experiment-now try getting someone out to a break in, in the same way they promise there

When you get past the horrible facial 'decorations', and the sometimes (very often) rough or even crude delivery, this guy is clever.
He either sees things much more clearly than most, or he puts other peoples' thinking and words to work for him very effectively.
Probably a bit of both, but I am prepared to give credit where credit appears due - he has made some extraordinarily insightful video commentaries on a range of social subjects.

He does sound very compelling in that video.

Subscribed so I’m probably on a list now.

Don't judge a book by its cover! I think I called him a moron earlier; how stupid do I feel. That said, taking authoritarian legislation and officious enforcement head on like that is either very brave, very stupid or possibly a bit of both. Good luck to him.

You have to laugh when you see he is now up to 150,000 subs.

Had the easily offended left not taken offence to this, I doubt his sub count would have exceeded 5% of that.

Instead, in trying to shut him down, he has now been given a big enough platform that could turn him into a full time YouTuber.

...Unless YouTube demonetise everything...

Something is telling me he won't get his his 'silver play button' for 100,000+ subs.

With the offence being the perception of offence by the so called victim, does the offense taken have to be a "reasonable" one, in the same way as,say, DWDCA has to be below a reasonable standard.

Or would the offence be taken even if the "victim" was a complete drama queen.

From the conviction in this case, and the Judge saying context is irrelevant, it seems it's the latter

The thing is, though, as far as I am aware, is that no one actually took offence to this. Also, if this really is so 'Grossly Offensive', why, pray tell is it still available to watch on many MSM websites in its entirety?

which begs the question what if several people on here offend me or, indeed, perceive that I have offended them?

I believe it was a Jewish group that made the initial complaint?

The most suspicious part to me was all the media there to photograph Meechan as he was arrested... almost like they needed a poster boy for their 'war on hate speech'.

I can only guess it's because those sites aren't based in the UK? I know the mail posted the video then shut down their channel when it was presented to them it was posting it online that got Meechan is trouble.

Is jail time an actual possibility over this? By that I mean, is that a likely outcome. I know its an option but I don't think its in the public's interest.

YT demonetising him wouldn't necessarily remove his platform. Patreon seems to be filling the gap nicely for content creators who've been demonetised, but have a decent audience.

Yep, should have mentioned that. Though Patreon also have history for banning people for 'wrong think'.

thats quite a frightening thought,

you can get jailed for a not very funny but harmless video, but if you go break into peoples houses and steal their stuff you'll get a slap on the wrists
