Just thought I'd finally check out this PH N,P&E heretic and was surprised at how well Jones came across.

He comes across well on some things and like a total muppet on others.

He's done the odd 3 hour fill-in on LBC and I quite warmed to him but you'll see/hear/read other things and think "blimey".

My position on Boris is that he's a likeable buffoon, but shouldn't have any real power.

I did vote conservative though. The alternative would have crippled me financially so my choice was whoever could keep the socialists out of power. My personal politics are very centre.

I don't condone violence of any sort other than in defence.

To get him off the phone most likely. It would carry a bit more weight as a slur if Johnson had actually done anything.
I think Jones actually using his platform as a mass media journalist to incite others to commit assault is worse no? Given the propensity of the public to be inspired by irresponsible media figures to do things like attacking mobile phone masts.
Many people would agree to do something (with no intention of carrying it out) to get rid of an irritation for a while. That isn't aimed at you of course

I mean lets face it the British army by that logic were advocating violence against people with differing political views when they totalled the Nazis...

This Week ones were normally a laugh. Others exist.

People like Jones (and Hitchens and Rees-Mogg) are useful for encouraging most people towards the centre ground.
