Manchester evening news reporting attacker shouted 'Britain First' :/
If true that's the referendum decided.
Not really - Britain First have had very little to do with the referendum, they are too busy posting videos of themselves going to places like Luton and provoking the locals.

A relative, who's an MP has been advised to cancel a couple of things he had going on tonight - Remain stuff.

Maybe slightly kneejerk - from a safety PoV.

Reading the updated Beeb article it sounds like she stepped into someone else's scuffle.
Brave lady, wishing her a speedy recovery.

I didn't even know it was a political group - I thought just a slogan.

Stephen Timms MP was lucky to survive a murder attempt a few years ago.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Timms#Murder...

They are sitting ducks at their surgeries given the lack of security, an open door policy etc.

I'd only just driven past when it happened. Labour MP and strongly 'Stay in EU', so much so her husband was down in London with her kids shouting at Farage and the fishermen yesterday.
That's depressing too. Dragging their kids into that nonsense. Are they even old enough to vote?
Hmm

Orlando,

then this

now this horrific event.

Starting to tire of the "lone wolf" quasi excuse.

Don't know it's really political, like the EDL. Populated by the same kinds of knuckle draggers from what I've heard.

How on earth do you link these 3? Today's appears to be a white male, possibly with right wing links. Anything but a supporter of IS.

How horrible. frown I hope she survives.

Sounds politically motivated if the witness reports are to be believed.

I think you may wish to reserve judgement given what is posted above.

This is not the time for knee jerk reaction

No, quite correct to stop campaigning in view of things reported to have been said. Decorum and all that.

Edited to add -

A relative of the other half lives locally, apparently people are saying she was shot in the head after trying to separate 2 people arguing about the referendum.

Christ.
