The guy obviously has issues. He needs a better support system around him with maybe a few less ‘yes’ people.

His position is untenable! There is no other option.

Do you vote for the Prime Minister role? Or does your elected Government choose the PM?

By now, there is absolutely zero excuse for moronic statements regarding how the EU Parliament is democratically elected by all Member States and how they in turn, elect their Officials and President.

If Juncker is indeed drunk, I agree, it is a disgrace and there are mechanisms to deal with that and any Member's MEP's can raise legitimate concerns.

The continued ignorance of many Leavers regarding how the EU works is truly pathetic - your brainwashing is obviously complete. A traitorous disgrace to Great Britain and all those who came before and sacrificed much to make it so - only for it to be gambled away by stupidity.

We are talking about Juncker here, the president of the European commission and an appointee.

The elected (by MEPs) president of the European parliament whose job it is to sign what it put in front of him is Antonio Tajani. Neither to be confused with the European Council president (Tusk) or the president of the council of the EU (Austria).

In all honesty, with your background you’re not really in a position to criticise those who’ve suffered from the excesses of the EU for such a long time.

You don’t really have any right to talk about “A traitorous disgrace to Great Britain and all those who came before and sacrificed much to make it so - only for it“ either.

You’ve spent most of your life in another country and did a runner when things got tough out there, by all accounts.

By the way; most people in the UK do vote for the Prime Minister. Do you really think the majority vote for their MP? Most don’t know the name of their MP.

They vote for the Party of their choice, influenced by who’s leading it, ergo the PM, but it’s not surprising you weren’t aware of that having spent so little of your life here.

You think it's any better with Remainers ? The Euro elections turnout , vote and the fact that next to no one knows who their MEPs are, says otherwise.
Remainers own laziness finally caught up with the EU project, probably best exampled by the Remain campaigns slogan of ' it's a bit st, but many bad things will happen if you leave'.

Strange isn't it.

And they wonder why they shouldn't be respected.

Juncker flouts his attitude to the whole charade, arrives pissed. It’s those around him that I have even more contempt for than I have for Juncker. They say and do nothing about his abuse of the bottle spilling over into the public arena.
It's worse than that. They attack anyone who says he's a drunk and lie on his behalf.
I’m most certainly not doubting you, but are there any links reporting such retorts. Could be amusing.
Commission spokesman Margaritis Schinas said it was "more than tasteless" for the press to write "insulting headlines by exploiting President Juncker's pain".

"I don't think this is elegant and I don't think this is fair," he added.

Asked whether Mr Juncker had mixed painkillers and alcohol, Mr Schinas replied: "No he didn't - at least I am not aware of this happening."

The president had suffered a "very particularly painful attack of sciatica accompanied by cramps," Mr Schinas said.

Everyone I’ve seen suffering from sciatica are visibly in severe pain. They don’t have that silly pissed expression. It doesn’t make you stumble either.
