Has Cameron stated that he will not stand for re-election?
I reckon it will be Osborne.
Osborne has already said he won't stand. I didn't think he would after last week, he has no allies and is disliked by more than he is liked. Plus there was that brexit thing.I reckon it will be Osborne.
You think Cameron would stand in the relection?
Depends on whether his lucrative new job in the City depends on him ensuring that his prospective employers have unfettered access to the EU or not and whether he is prepared to trust his current colleques not to screw it up for him.
Personally I think he will sit back, watch the chaos and "allow" himself to be talked into carrying on. I certainly wouldn't leave my financial future and my family's security in the hands of the buffoons currently in Westminster and I see no reason for Cameron to do so either.

May. BoJo has made enemies with his latest caper.
May is reported in tomorrow's Independent as saying Boris or Gove could be her Minister for Brexit. Genius move from the PoV of the party. Turns his triumph into a one trick pony skill; if it goes well for him he has a chance at the leadership in the future, and if it doesn't it's his failure not hers.

Do you honestly think the salary Cameron gets as PM is at all significant to his financial security? Esseesse said:

Surely the question should be:
Whose career does the Tory party want to permanently ruin by making them PM?
Don't all political careers end in failure?Whose career does the Tory party want to permanently ruin by making them PM?
PM for at least 4 years until there needs to be a next general election doesn't sound much like failure to me.
Cameron was the person who will go down in history as taking us out of the EU.
