The 'who would win in a fight' hierarchy tends to be between animals that would never meet in nature. Each is top of the tree in their environment. I doubt there's anything tougher than a tiger in Asia, a Polar bear in Antartica, a lion on the African plains, etc.

I personally think tigers are the most magnificent of mammals. But you stick one in a pen, and drive cars full of tastey primates past it every day. Seems like cruelty of the highest order. I visited Woburn safari park a few years ago. Watching the tiger pace the fence Made me feel pretty bad about even visiting the place.
A Polar bear would definitely be the top predator in the Antarctic. yes It would also be very, very lost.......... wink

The Leopard is the most successful of the big cats, as it is able to hunt & kill pretty much anything it comes across, hunts on it's own and has a very broad diet. That's why it can be found across Africa, the Middle East, India, South East Asia and China. So you're fara more likely to encounter one and they'd have no trouble despatching a human.

Might be BS, but I heard that they are the only living creature aside from humans who kill for no reason - food, threatened etc.

Double hard bds
Domestic cats? The s.
Killer Whales, too. In fact I think quite a few animals do.
Wolves will kill for amusement as well and even Dolphins. We humans always do ourselves down, most of the time we're no where near as y as wild animals, hence the term "wild" "animals".

Thanks, that's the thing with jokes about Chinese food, half an hour after reading one you're hungry for another one...

I believe the rankings in hardness are accepted to be:

Put one human in a jungle with a lion, the human will get eaten. Put 10 humans in a jungle with a lion, the lion will get eaten. Teamwork, tool use and ingenuity out-trumps all smile
So what happens if we put a human and ten lions in the jungle? wink

Polar Bears are quite a but bigger than Brown Bears but probably not quite as aggressive (unless hungry). Either would be a bad news encounter.

I'd put the Hippo and saltwater Crocs in the "not to be fked with category".
the are numerous vids of leopards beating crocs

Yes but they cheat/engage in un-gentlemanly conduct to win.
Cheat is a bit strong. I wasn't aware of a set of rules. Ungentlemanly conduct is probably fair.

The utter s that put those animals into that enclosure and said "that'll do" deserve to be thrown in.

Jaguar on Croc is bloody epic though. Serious, serious power and skill.

I can't think of much that could take on a Hippo though. What actually is a hippo? A cow?

Organised animal fights are still extremely popular events across China, regarded as fun and perfectly legitimate family outings.
