You are mistaken. Intersex exists, but it is not a sex. TRAs bandy around a lot of pseudoscience, and straightforward science denial, but there are just two sexes. Gender is fluid, because gender is a social construct. Sex is not fluid. The regressive nature of TRA approaches is shown by the notion that to be a man or to be a woman is to conform to social stereotypes of the masculine or the feminine. TRAs also attack same sex attraction (trans away the gay). This is why progressive feminists and progressive LGB people oppose the regressive, misogynistic and homophobic ideas that underpin the current surge in trans extremism.

Meanwhile, an MSP is making a fool of herself on Twitter by accusing those who complained about an adult sex entertainer called Flow Job being invited to a primary school of being homophobic, although many complaining are themselves LGB or tarns people who care about safeguarding.

Want a role model? Why not invite a female engineer, or a male nurse, or a gay or lesbian or bisexual soldier, farmer, whatever? Why convey to children the idea that to be gay is to be a drag queen who has a soft porn website?
Just for complete accuracy, she's(?) an MP, not an MSP, representing the very same town where the Scottish finance minister was sacked last week for grooming schoolboys online. Something is rotten in the State of Scotland.

What’s wrong with that, seems like a good idea?
I wonder if using a darker plaster than your skin tone will be considered cultural appropriation?
Will people in catering start to get stick from the Smurfs?

On a related matter, ISTR that there were some student disturbances in Nairobi in the early seventies when an American charity started handing out "skin colored" condoms at their clinics.

Until you run out of stock in any one of the colours, then you’ll probably be all over Twitter as a racist........

Gammon? Really?

The majority of posts seem to be pointing out how others will find an angle to be offended, can’t say the colour of plasters is high on my list of social issues. Hey ho........

Indeed. Nobody is actually offended so people need to make stuff up.

Now we’ve got as far as making up that people would be offended if certain products were not produced.

The majority of posts seem to be inventing situations where others will find an angle to be offended so they can be offended
FTFY

This thread is a whole load of irony, take the plaster posts above, it's a good idea, no one is offended, yet we have posters inventing situations where people might be offended just so they can say people are being offended.

I think it shows you just how mental people have gone, and it links back to my thoughts that the web induces/enables sociopathy.

One of my favourite things about NP&E is people posting offended threads about how offended lefties/vegans/"females"/lib dems/lefties again are.

Righties are offended by lefties seemingly being offended by stuff. In the absence of lefties being offended by stuff they are inventing things that they feel lefties ought to be offended by (on account of their perceived leftyness) but aren't, in order to justify their own offended-ness of lefties.

When we have people boycotting tea because the wrong person was seen drinking it, you don't need to invent outrage.

Was scratching my head about this as one of my young ones friends has been using these for years.

Different skin tone plasters have been a thing for a decade. The only news is that Tesco has finally caught up.

Quite, so why do posters on here keep inventing stuff?

The only only people that seem outraged on here are the posters posting about other peoples outrage and indeed making stuff up to be outraged about

Saw an advert for skin tone underwear in a variety of shades.

Didn't even know it was that popular among white women, let alone men of colour, as pictured in the advert.

I'm certainly not offended by the lack of beige pant offerings
