She has actually got a point here though, not that it's offensive, sexist or anything to go bleating about but its more bad wayfinding than anything else.

If you were a single bloke with a child, where would you think the baby changing facilities were?

At last, someone else who realises that signs are there to tell you something, and that's both their purpose and how people interpret them.

Yep. really bad wayfinding and just useless as a practical sign.

I don't think it's about getting offended so much as just being a lazy, half hearted job.

Moron.
Are those 77k likes he has, just people laughing at what a dick he is, or are there really 77k people who are stupid enough to agree with that?

It's just jaw dropping, really. Literally sat open mouthed at that. Please someone say it's a parody.

Presumably, being such a sensitive soul, they don't support the cotton trade in any way shape or form either, which must be a bit uncomfortable in Texas. Also, best not travel on railroads since you know how a lot of those tracks were laid. In fact, everyone, off the trains right now. Get some sensitivity ffs.

Oh, Sugar too. Stop it everyone right now. No sugar. No. insensitive. nono
Crap, rubber too. Walking from now on. Hm, provided the soles of my shoes aren't rubber based....

....its a good job I'm such an insensitive arse I'd never get home otherwise.

Personally, I'm glad people still get offended, and people still say things that offend.

I'd defend the rights of both groups to the death before relenting into some watered down society where political correctness reigns supreme and everyone just smiles and nods at each others' opinion.

Im not sure I agree that the choices are be offensive/hyper offended or agree with everyone all the time.
Plenty of room for differences of opinions without being extremist.
Extremist people get far too much attention and cause far too much trouble. Put them all on islands together and let them annoy the st out of each other and leave us alone.

The New York Post seems to believe she was serious, as do numerous other publications.

Thanks, either she really is very dull or on an amazing windup - judging by the number of responses I kind of hope its the latter. Could just be clever marketing by Hobby Lobby too, I guess.

With facebook/twitter etc. you can rarely be sure.

She is black American and she did post it in the comments section of Hobby Lobby's facebook page.
Apparently some people have actually come out in agreement hehe

Some are using it as a platform to slate the company on other topics.
The classic one for me was (paraphrasing) "Why would anyone buy anything from these misogynists? They won't pay for female employees' feminine hygiene products, but they give male employees Viagra".
Any men over the age of 50 should probably be thinking seriously of a career with Hobby Lobby US, because for sure they hand out Viagra to male employees wobble

If we could shut down the entirety of social media (that would have to include NP&E as well) for just a couple of weeks...
The first few days would be mayhem, but after two - three weeks, without idiots winding up other idiots, we would see a calm settle over society that would resemble the closing scenes of 'A Christmas Carol'.

Does anyone else remember those halcyon days when you were only driven to fits of outrage once per day, as you read the headline story of The Sun that some sub-normal had purchased and left laying around?
Then as you recalled to yourself "This is The Sun", you knew you could discount 95% of it as pure bull dung; your heart rate slowed, you would feel your blood pressure dropping, and then just got on with your day.

An eminent physiologist stated that his first advice to patients displaying high levels of stress and worry is to stop reading or watching the news and stay off social media of any and every description for three days.

This was the real racist cotton story

https://www.vibe.com/2017/09/lipscomb-university-c...

"So I attend Lipscomb university and as most of you know that is a predominately white school. Tonight AFRICAN AMERICAN students were invited to have dinner with the president of the school. As we arrived to the president's home and proceeded to go in we seen cotton as the center pieces. We also stood and ate dinner, there were no seats to sit in and it felt very uncomfortable. We were very offended, and also the meals that were provided resembled many "black meals" they had mac n cheese, collard greens, corn bread etc. The night before Latinos also had dinner at his house and they had tacos. They also DIDN'T have the center piece that we HAD tonight. A couple of minutes went by, the president was coming around and asking for our names and what our major was. He finally got to our table and my friend @kay_cyann asked why there was cotton on the table as the center piece. His response was that he didn't know, he seen it before we did, he kind of thought it was " fallish", THEN he said " it ISNT INHERENTLY BAD IF WERE ALL WEARING IT " then walked off. "

Ungrateful sts.
