MSM in overdrive trying to deflect, so it certainly looks like trouble.

Edit: This is also quite amusing: https://twitter.com/wikileaks/status/8602045379987...smile

This could get interesting. Macron has had all his campaign emails hacked and published online tonight. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-election-...

"The En Marche! Movement has been the victim of a massive and co-ordinated hack this evening which has given rise to the diffusion on social media of various internal information," the statement said.

Seems strange that there has been a press embargo in France on this as the authorities, you know those who want to keep Le Pen out at any cost, say it might affect the election.

Seems a good reason for them to be out in the open if he is a lying tax cheat about to be president.

I guess it depends whether the French voters want French fascism or EU fascism.

What an odd thing to say. Why would you want to publish any private information, that you don't have time to verify 1 day before the election. Let alone ones illegally obtained. Seems you've been drinking to much Trump juice and it's affecting your judgement.

It's not strange. It is an attempt to rig the election. That's not without precedent either.

The cornerstone of the media is, of course, meticulously verifying every article before publication

To be fair, there is a complete press embargo on politics to 2 days prior to the election in France, so it isn't specifically for this leak.

It seems very bizarre that the leak came out just before the embargo and in too little time before the election to be properly reviewed. It probably means there is nothing material in there.

PS I do still think that Macron is a Bond villain, though.

The French have a day of reflection, prior to a vote.

The masses who are going to vote Le pen will have made their mind up weeks ago, what's up for grabs is the unsure or abstain voters, those are the ones who may be persuaded to either definitely abstain or vote Le Pen if they see Macron as bent, because he is not popular for being himself, his vote is all about anyone but Le Pen.

If he suddenly looks actively unpalatable, that could change the way the people who are in the two floating groups vote. You don't need the Mass Media to influence that anymore.

Does Le Pen really want the pension age cut to 60? That's nuts and completely at odds with the rest of the world.

And the rest of the French employment law isn't?
