Seeing doddery old Bernie on a F1 grid recently he's probably taken it himself and forgotten, or eaten it.

I know he looks a bit like Bricktop but is Bernie supposed to be some kind of tough guy?
There is line in the sand my pedigree chum and you are getting dangerously close to crossing it.

Bernie always reminds me of the bloke that ran the newsagents on the A6 next to Stockport College in the late eighties/early nineties, dead ringer for him, he had yellow fingers from chain smoking and the finest selection of grot in the North West biggrin

They probably had to be taken before someone discovered they were all fakes...

Something definitely odd here.

A £45m property containing (at least) £50m of 'stuff', belonging to the very high-profile, kidnap-risk, daughter of a very famous billionaire doesn't have a permanent security team?
This version of the story
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7796887/B...
mentions that there was "a security guard" working at the property. But yea, not a team like you'd expect.

I am struggling to understand how someone (who isn't the actual Queen) manages to physically have enough in one room that adds up to £50m of jewellery. Does Cartier's shop even have that much in it? Article talks about a couple of £250k rings, OK, but then the other things it lists are well below £100k. Even if the average price of everything in her collection is as high as £50k, to get to £50m she needs to have 1000 items? That's a lot of rings and necklaces she can never ever get around to wearing?

the house is probably £100-£150m

i cant see how anyone could get into the garden from the rear, getting in from the front is nigh impossible and the street has armed police at each end and patrols.

the £50m is just the nice round number they put out to the press. wont be anywhere near that.

I can attest that everything is in Elizabeth Duke and Ratner jewellery boxes. Amazing collection of clowns on necklaces.

His favourite paper the DM is after him again today with articles about fake paintings

A £20m Monet that turned out to be fake and something about trying to prove a Dali that had been lent to Prince Charles was real, but wasn't

How dare you call it fake.

He has a Monet up for auction, and I am assured (by him) it is genuine. He says someone has bid £4.7m so I am thinking of a last minute snipe of £5m and 1p.

It sort of gets worse! More attacking by the Daily Fail he so loves!!

With his recent form regarding works of art of shall we say “dubious parentage” one must question why he formulated a site to auction his “Monet”

This boy really did have it all and completely and utterly blew it. He hasn’t the resources to take on his adversaries.

A sorry take of sleaze, decadence, greed, excess and his inevitable ultimate failure..
