Guardian readers don't like it at all going by the comments.
Apparently Burnham was off quaffing champagne in some swanky restaurant when Corbyn rocked up in Manchester. Some things never change..
Edit: But worry not! Jezza says they are closing the gap: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-politics-3979913...
He told us "Andy" was already hard at work not quaffing champers the liar.https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/may/05/j...

For fks sake. Someone just told me she got paid £110k for appearing on the BBC this week, my 4 year old nephew could have done better than she did....
Who on earth told you that? The BBC doesn't pay fees to politicians for media interviews. If it did it would be bankrupt by the end of the general election campaignPositronicRay said:

However the story was resurrected this week:

The figure's right but it's not just this week as it's fees since 2003.

I still don't think that's right for a serving politician though, and it's particularly hypocritical for her.

As stated, that's not for interviews, but as a pundit on a current affairs news show over a 14 year period.https://order-order.com/2014/12/22/diane-abbott-po...

Yeah... let's listen to the vile IRA sympathiser and vote him in as PM. He has clearly stated that he will not defend our country if push came to shove.
"Asked in what circumstances he would back deploying British troops, Mr Corbyn said: “I'm sure there are some. But I can't think of them at the moment."
He will build nuclear subs... but they will not have any weapons.
He wants to get rid of our armed forces.

There is a special place in hell for this individual.
