Who let Diane out again. hehe

Brilliant. She shouldn't be allowed to speak without Portillo being sat next to her though.
Have you ever noticed that when Diane spoke on This Week, Portillio always seems to be looking down with a wry smirk on his face.

It was ubiquitous. The smirk defined as ' here she goes again talking utter ste' things i will never forget:

'on balance Mao did more good than bad' he must have cured cancer or similar because he murdered 45M people.

'West Indian Mums will go to the wall for their kids' a blatant racist comment
' the problem with the UK is white people' more racist bile from the fat one
"white people love playing "divide and rule" should have been sacked for that but in Labour, anything goes.

Yeah, I feel like I'm missing out by not having that whenever she says this daft stuff.

She'd gone supernova when Neil couldn't keep a straight face either.

You missed out the second part of that quote "... We should not pay their game." So not only was the first part making generalisations on racial grounds but the second part was then going on to divide the population into "us" and "them" and thus do exactly what she'd just accused!

She can't do small doses. That seems to be the problem.
Can you imagine being in charge of the election campaign with her on the loose?

Even the Guardian's enjoying ripping out of Abbott. You know you've got it wrong as a Labour MP when you become a satire piece for them.

'Diane Abbott, who hopes to be in charge of anti-terror operations after next month’s UK general election, has compared her previous support for the defeat of the British army in Northern Ireland to a haircut that is no longer in fashion.'

Oh look, Jezza has been up to more of his wacky terrorist-honouring antics. And writing for The Morning Star at least as late as October 2014.

Something else that occurred to me - if the unthinkable happened and he gets in, what would it do for the situation in NI? I can't help but wonder if a few hardline Republicans might not start to feel more emboldened and justified to resume their attacks.

The Polls are complete and utter chaos. From a 13% lead for the Conservatives down to a 6% lead. I still believe that there will be close to a 100 majority . The more we see of the holy trinity lead by JC himself the more I trust in my fellow Brit to see through the lies and put an end to this awful site of a Labour Party infested with Militants and Momentum members. I always think how we were cheated by the death of John Smith who would have made such a good PM. The sooner we get to June 9th the better

Not my politics, but I had a lot of time for him and he would have made a good elder statesmen, of the calibre that we seem to have lost in recent decades. John Major does a reasonable job from the sidelines. Brown et al, less so.

Agreed. It's a shame they are mostly not inclined to get involved. I would like to know more about Dan Jarvis, from what I have read he seems be a decent man with military experience. I thought Robin Cook had immense integrity.

Political integrity; probably seen through slightly rose tinted spectacles from his resignation speech.

I think you learn a lot about a party leader (John Smith excepted) by what they do after they step down.

As said Major, has kept chipping in to politics, Cameron has followed Blair by nakedly chasing the cash.
