McDonell is playing a silly game, many of the affected councils (25 so far) with dodgy cladding will be long term Labour run, Manchester and Salford are amongst those, which is also now under the stewardship of a Labour Mayor.
Easy, blame Blair...........because we are the New New Labour with added Momentum.
No need to blame Thatcher now they have and evil war-making Tory like Tony Blair to heap it onto.

I just think it's a great example of the hypocrisy of the usual white leftwing middle classes. Segregated by walls and financial barriers in the own white world. As they Virtue signal and tell everyone else how tolerant they are.
And maybe, the people ,you mentioned, just don't fancy going to Glastonbury.
Has anyone asked them?

"Virtue signalling" - would that include moaning and getting upset about the supposed lack of diversity at an event such as Glastonbury? spin

It's easy, just pick one from the following and blame it on them:

Austerity
The rich
Brexit
May not having a mandate
Blair
Thatcher
Climate change
The Jews

How so?

Since you have resorted to the name calling already... I expect nothing less, why are they all bellends?

I wouldn't normally resort to name-calling, but this guy deserves it.

The Tories have an image problem and this kind of idiot doesn't help. Bringing William Hague (a Tory I have only respect for, baseball cap aside) back into the fold is a great move...but maybe too late.

Get real, Dimots.

You couldn't give a monkey's backside whether the Tories have an image problem.

Why do you say that? I want British politics to work for the good of the population as a whole...and the more competent politicians are in position the better, regardless of allegiance.

Valid reasons to be fair. Austerity pushing NHS dissatisfaction levels to new records today. Brexit trashing our currency and hurting the economy. May being a complete failure of a PM. Etc etc.

Invalid reasons to be fair. The media pushing NHS dissatisfaction levels to new records today. Brexit lowering the value of our currency and boosting exports and helping economy. May being unfairly damaged as a PM by the BBC et al. Etc etc.
Glad to be of assistance with your misapprehensions!

Are you referring to the 'Austerity' that has increased spending in each and every year and which has seen spending as a % of GDP almost double over the last 40 years?

Or do you have a different definition that you're working to?
