At least you know with Uncle Jezza's plans they have a chance of winning him votes. Always a useful skill to have in a democracy, TM will do well to remember.
TM won more votes than JC in the last election. Without pretending to offer free money. JK will do well to remember.
And what a massive success that was. Now her own party are plotting against her.

You really think that May came out of this GE looking better than Corbyn?

No, May certainly didn't. But she did still convincingly beat Corbyn!

That's not democracy, that's a confidence trick! Before Blair, many Labour MPs had principles. among others Clair Short, Eric Heffer, Michael Foot, and even Anthony Wedgewood Benn (note, not the cuddly Tony Benn) would never have stooped quite as low as to tell bare faced lies simply in order to gain votes. Okay so Benn was a tax evader when it came to his legacy to his family, but that apart he had more principles than Tony Blair could ever dream of. Blair started to market research policy making in which the voters are asked what they want the party to say they stand for, and they'll claim they believed that all along. 'If you don't like our policies don't worry, we have others!' I always respected traditional Labour for standing up for what they believe in regardless of whether it would gain votes. Better to try to convince the people of the virtues of socialism than to prostitute themselves for votes. Well Mr Trustworthy Corbyn has developed a new twist on this technique: tell 'em you'll look after 'em until they've cast their votes. Then tell the truth.
More completely confused arguments from the Anti Corbyn frothers. One minute he is too Old Labour, Michael Foot rehashed, too principled and set in his ways, the next he isn't Old Labour enough, nothing like Michael Foot, has no principles and changes with the wind.

Make your mind up people.
I am not people, I am a person and I have never spouted any of the bullst you accuse me of. Corbyn is simply a con-artist posing as sincere.

Corbyn is a liability. Deceitful, stupid, and dangerous. And his coterie of sidekicks beggars belief. Is this really the best Labour have to offer??

The monkeys out there that think he is some sort of panacea are frankly as deluded as he is. Grow up.

so let me ask Jaw - if May is an unmitigated disaster and a total failure (which I am willing to accept on the basis of her election showing) what does that make corbyn given that he got soundly beaten (and that's without the boundary changes which are needed and could cause the red side of politics even more problems)

Well he keeps getting written off in every contest he enter and keeps surpassing expectations. He is only getting stronger. Tory boys should be very afraid. What they are selling is going out of fashion as they regain their reputation as the bd party.

And yet their share of the vote increased. And they will get more seats when the boundary changes are enacted and make it more of a level playing field.

And Corbyn is now backing away from 'what he was selling' to the young!!

I'd say that Cons convincingly beat Labour despite May making Corbyn look good.

This is the same argument that some posters were making about Marine Le Pen, etc and were constantly told that "people have rejected the far right"

Corbyn surpassed any expectations, Marine Le Pen did nothing of the kind. Macron destroyed her. Complete and humiliating destruction.

Was Le Pen offering free money to bribe a key part of the electorate?

UKIP loons returning to the mothership.

Are those the same boundary changes you promised us were happening but have seemingly been scrapped? OK, keep clutching at those straws. The country are gradually giving up on Conservatism. They can see it doesn't work in this day and age. Good riddance.

You seem to be unaware that more of the 'UK loons' went to Labour than to the Tories...

Are you really so poorly informed?

Why do you think they've been scrapped?

Except of course the country increased their votes for the Tories.

You really are very ignorant about most of what you claim!!

The Tories received 13.67m votes, the last time Labour received that many votes was 1951. It was the largest number of votes the Tories had received in 25 years.

I didn't vote for them by the way but Conservatism and what they're selling are not as unpopular as you seem to think.

He's just the third iteration of a pathetic and ignorant troll. Hopefully he'll be banned (again) soon.
