Jeremy Corbyn Vol. 2
Discussion
Interesting reaction from Anna Soubry to Corbyn's naked attempt to force a General Election by engineering a defeat over the Customs Union. Does she see that his being so blatant about it has scuppered her amendment because too few Tories will now support her?
I had expected her to keep her head down over this and let things play out, but it seems that Corbyn has pushed it into Confidence territory and alienated Tory support for the idea.
Ironically if he'd kept his mouth shut and won that vote he could have argued for his current proposal on the grounds that Parliament had voted for it. He's such a naive idiot.

Having watched him being interviewed after his "I Have a Dream" speech, when asked what Plan B is should Plan A fail, his response was Plan B was to continue to negotiate until we have Plan A
I truly despair of anyone who buys into him and his what crap shall I spout to get into power today policies and thinks he will sort out an amicable and workable solution to Brexit.
The last Labour government bankrupted the country. His lot will wreck it irreparably should he get in.
He's like a lefty Trump, all mouth and no trousers.I truly despair of anyone who buys into him and his what crap shall I spout to get into power today policies and thinks he will sort out an amicable and workable solution to Brexit.

With this level of preparation, the potential negotiating counterpart must be quaking in their boots. Not. I truly despair of anyone who buys into him and his what crap shall I spout to get into power today policies and thinks he will sort out an amicable and workable solution to Brexit.

Of all the things to beat Corbyn over the head with I don't think this is one of them. It's not as if the current government are trailblazing a marvellous Brexit negotiation is it. I think they'd struggle to find their arse with both hands.
There's a big difference between being in the middle of it, and merely talking about it though.I am extremely confident that Corbyn would not have us in a better position right now were he at the helm.
He has previous form on spouting unimplementable bks to get support. And then backtracking the second he meets reality. Unfortunately our media seem too focussed on other stuff to take him to task on his guff in any meaningful way.

Corbyn's "big announcement" has rightly been seen as mischief-making agitprop. His interviews on the subject (which I've read reports on, but not seen) confirm this. His performance hasn't been as bad as Abbott but it's still superficial blah intended to rock the Tory boat rather than convince. What he would actually do is anyone's guess after a few more u-turns. As pointed out, sniping from the sidelines is easy enough. Doing it is another matter entirely.

Oh, and if your wondering, the car model over my shoulder will never be made when we come to power, everyone who requires transport will automatically be entitled to a "Horse and cart"

As a lot of people may have no inclination to read about reading another transgender story from a boring headline, and the kids Newsbeat section being another decider, it could be argued that the Beeb have failed to bring proper attention to it.
Hope they are covering it on radio news and News at 10 though.
