Point his employers to his facebook and he won't be teaching kids much longer.
All well and good, but his wife or sister might not be the biggest fan of that course of action.

My brother in law thinks Corbyn is great and in the last year or so the BIL's views are coming more extreme.
He never has been a great fan of Jews, however now he posts every piece of anti Jewish propaganda he can find on good old facebook.
He also openly says that all Jews should die and Israel should be taken off the map.
The even more scary bit is the fact that he is a school teacher i dread to think what if anything he tells his students.
Being of Jewish descent it sickens me to read that. Out the f*cker, I would - his personal politics should have no place in the classroom.

All I meant is breakfast might be a little frosty if he gets his wife’s brother fired.

How bad would what he posts have to be for you to take some action to remind him how unacceptable this is, or stop him spreading poison to impressionable minds.

Yup. By not doing so you’re saying it’s acceptable.

The collective wit here can be very clever, I'm actually shocked no one has yet done a "job" on this.

Report him to Crimestoppers or something, it's anonymous that way. How would you feel if someone with views like that was teaching your kids?

Agree 100%. Its properly sick stuff.

In the past we had fascists using the grand Jewish conspiracy line now we have the new wave Socialists recycling the same evil, basically they are saying global Capitalism (globalism) is a Jewish conspiracy to take over the world by weakening nation states and controlling the banking system (Rothschilds, Goldman Jewish innit). Pretty much the Protocols of the Elders of Zion recycled for 21st century globalism. I used to consider myself left wing but the more I studied this ideology the more one can see it is utterly sickening, riddled with hatred, apologist for the 100M killed by Communist regimes and rampant anti-semitism to top it all off.

For me, the main takeaway isn't that this is a rehash of earlier tropes; it is that "progress" is by and large illusory. Society seems to ebb and flow in waves - "burn the witch" for a few decades, followed by shall we say "enlightenment" for a few decades, and so it repeats.

During the enlightened times, people dogmatically cling to the belief that somehow something has now "changed for good" in the world. But quickly - oh so quickly - humans return to type.

In times of turmoil and uncertainty, FUD is quick to spread. Those with more wealth are hated. Those with more ambition to "take our wealth" are hated. Those who are somehow "not like us" are treated with suspicion.

Populists of any colour will jump on a bandwagon powered by nothing but FUD to cast themselves in the role of saviours of the people.

The illusion of "progress" is almost as powerful as the attraction to a "mankind is basically good" belief. After WWII, many were quick to blame attrocity purely upon the personal magnetism of Hitler and the machine around him - the people, they said, were easily led astray, but were essentially good. That thought persisted for a few decades until those in the former Yugoslavia started spontaneously to do many of the unspeakable things that - apparently - the Germans had done only because of a magnetic leader - except then there was no such leader to blame. The bubble burst, the illusion was shattered - people were not so intrinsically good after all. The decades since have just reinforced that view - massacres and oppression, displaced peoples, rape and torture of innocents, the imposition of dark ages points of view. All these things and more were - we told ourselves in the 1950s and 1960s - really just dark memories. That somehow "something had changed."

What the apparent rise of anti-semitism (as opposed to anti-Israel sentiment, which I happen to believe is perfectly reasonable) has pointed up is the lack of a rational, reasonable populist hero. The people are clearly in need of such a person, but none has made themselves visible yet, creating a vacuum filled by extreme views.

Finally (and sorry for the ramble in the wee hours), I would only say that the reaction of many pro-Israeli factions to constantly conflate "anti-semitism" with "anti-Israeli sentiment" (for obvious political reasons) serves only to worsen the problem. It in part creates the very problem it pretends to complain of. We need to stamp out unreasonable labelling just as surely as we need to embrace those with unreasonable views and steer them towards an alternate path.

Abhorrent as his views are, there’s no evidence from that post, that he passes on any of his hatred to his pupils.

I’ve got an old school friend that’s a teacher and a massive Corbyn supporter also, he’s very intelligent indeed but still can’t help himself from posting loads of politics on Facebook. There’s no anti Jewish stuff but lots of anger about the BBC being anti Corbyn and loads of anti thatcher stuff. He’s at least smart enough to post under a different name so that none of his views are linked to his job or could be read by his pupils.

As an aside, I’m not a Corbyn supporter at all but I haven’t actually seen any evidence of anti Semitism from him.

Did the 'whitewash' Chakrabarti report and subsequent peerage not raise any concerns from you?
