If what Labour did in relation to PFI was so dody and underhand I assume the first thing the Tories did was to stop doing it? Otherwise wouldnt it be hypcorisy on your part to accuse labour f doing something that the Tories started, and have continued since they retruned to power?

What they are being accused of is raising her national debt to ridiculous levels. When calculating the national debt you have to include PFI commitments to be realistic. The fact that the much lower level of debt under Major also included some PFI doesn't make a bigger debt OK.

The great thing about JC is that the momentumites are utterly devoted to him. Via Facebooks predilection for linking people I've ended up with a news feed that includes links shared by a genuine lefty. As far as they're concerned Labours performance in the council elections was a massive success that the media are conspiring to cover up, meanwhile victory in the next GE is a certainty.

Well, I don't"follow"as I don't want to be associated with them but a quick search and the amazing is there.

Although he's the Bolshevik pulling Corbyn's strings he's got zero charisma so fortunately there would be even less prospect of a Momentum government if he stepped in as leader.

At the next GE Corbyn will be 73 years old. Whats the odds that, on the off chance that Labour won, he would 'retire on health grounds' after a year or two? And then - Ta-Daa - McDonnell is PM.

And then trying very hard to be President for Life ....

It’s been a while since a Civil War, but I think that might just do it...

It's not going to happen. Labour have failed to make any breakthroughs in the polls since the last GE. Have a look at this years polls so far;

http://ukpollingreport.co.uk/blog/archives/categor...

Inspite of all the terrible mess in No10, Labour have never maintained a lead for any length of time.

Luckily after the polls got it badly wrong in the last GE momentumites now believe all polls are infact to be ignored as they are propaganda by the right wing media, which in their world view includes the BBC ( and presumably the Guardian ).

In fairness, they say they'll tax 'properly'. This is great news as HMRC don't take nearly enough of what I earn.

Bad news on the avocado front there. Mandelson will have to go without guacamole on his fish and chips.

No-one really trusts the polls anymore, UKiPs was once in double figures in the polls, that has now dissolved and majority of them went to Tory (at the GE it was ⅔), so the number was maybe similar at local level? I guess now we'll just have to see if that edge can be overcome by JC or not.
I reckon it'll be business as usual.
So no redo of the battle of George Square

I assume someone has hit an apostrophe instead of a comma, unless later the "families' peace campaigners" went away to help their uncle Jack off a horse.
