But we are leaving that........ Aren't we?
Sadly not, but seriously, looking at the results recently, how could it be worse?
Which is why I voted to leave - seriously the EU looks pretty democratic compared to the EUrovision song contest - Still voted to leave that too - it was a binary choice on the ballot paper
Eurovision song contest wasn't even on the radar regarding my decision, and still isn't. Plus as above we can't get any worse than recent results. In a way I hope they do behave like that, just show themselves up for the set of clowns they are. Well rid of the mardy gits.
Australia are making a third entry into this years contest in Kiev, so with the potential for a trade agreement between the UK & Oz, I can confidently predict a joint last place, with an outside chance of UK being out on their own with Oz getting three points at the last knockings.

I did my research wink

I had 273 reasons to leave and 11 to stay and one of the 273 was Eurovision

This 7-4 split suggestion is interesting. Having watched the hearing with one eye, it seemed to me that Reed and Carnwath (the unintelligible old bloke on the right who kept coming at things from a different angle to everyone else) were persuaded by the Govt argument. Hughes and Hodge (very far right and very far left) were harder to call; I'm not sure that they had made their minds up by the end of it. The middle block of 7 seemed fairly well settled against the Govt, with Sumption (the man with the wild ties) regarding the whole thing as incredibly simple and a complete waste of his and everyone else's time.

I'd say anywhere from 7-4 to 11-0 is possible. Minds can change and be changed during the deliberation process.

Don't think it will be closer than 7-4 though.
I'm booking that as a balls on accurate prediction of the outcome.

Now, the lottery numbers. Hmm...

Oh, come on ref!

The result was within the range; I picked two of the three dissenters (reed and Carnwath) and fingered Hughes (dissenter) and Hodge (majority) as either way.

I think I deserve a MASSIVE congrats for that. wink

To be fair, that's somewhere between 7-3 and 11-0.

I predict six lottery numbers in the next draw somewhere between 3-59 and 0-56.

Well thats that. Fairly obvious I thought due to the original high court ruling but doesnt really change much I dont think because parliament will surely vote it through no matter what.

As a alternative view I think that Parliament and the Lords will vote it through - I don't think it will be smooth sailing but it will be voted through

True, but you wouldn't win the jackpot.

Tough ref here.

Any amendments put forward or required is where the really juicy story is. It will certainly be interesting.

Whilst it will ultimately go through, if everyone gets their say on the plan before its triggered, there is no way this is going to happen by March IMO.

Yeah. The mess that is the EU organisation structure is Trump's problem, not yours. Tool.

I read that and thought "Yes Donald Trump got your names mixed up by accident... just keep on believing that".

Strange. He didn't raise any such objections when President Obama intervened in our referendum, to threaten us with dire consequences for daring to leave.

Amusingly enough, it now appears to be the hapless Mr Junker at the back of the queue.
