Not true.

The changes are manifold. The scale is huge & has taken the west by surprise. The method of delivery is directly into people's devices. It's interactive & moreover truly deceitful by purporting to be natives of the countries they're actually undermining.

Would strongly suggest you google @DavidJo52951945 if you have even the slightest curiosity about the reach of these operations.
Which is all because of the technology changes.

As technology changes the methods used to get your message across change. Nothing has fundamentally changed, you can go back as far as you like in history and propaganda has always been used.

The only difference now is there is less of a filter between the perpetrator and the receiver, you used to have to get the mainstream media on board to be successful on a grand scale, now you use the technology to directly target your audience.

This is the same for any message driven industry such as advertising.

You are applying an extremely narrow view to a phenomenon that has caught governments across the west off balance. I'm happy for you to breeze through with no concerns, I don't share your view & neither do serious commentators.

You mean all those serious commentators who are in the MSM that is being bypassed?, cant think why they would have a problem with it.

What is almost certainly going to happen is we are going to have increasing censorship on social media. At the start of the process they will say it is targeting those on the extreme right, but it will quickly become apparent that this also includes anyone who is against open borders and the broader globalist agenda.

I had heard the rumour but I didn't know if it was true.

Are we playing conspiracy theory buzzword bingo? You could have fitted Soros in there somewhere, too.

Rubbish. Governments across the west know exactly what Russia is or isn't up to. Twitter is a walk in the park to keep track of compared to military movements.

I've still seen no open source evidence of any impact from confirmed Russia bots.

Zat so? I guess you can't have followed the US election very closely then.

Wut? Of no relevance whatsoever.

I've never seen Game of Thrones. Does that mean it doesn't exist?

It means I can provide evidence it does.

Those links, or at least the ones which worked when I read them earlier in the thread, are completely devoid of anything approaching evidence of Russian state activity let alone any measure of impact.

i have to take my hat off to eddie, ajd and mx5 nut. this thread has gone on long past its sell by date solely down to their ability as fishermen (good to see them prepare for brexit britain wink). every single negative brexit item the msm can come up with they bait their hooks with and throw the line out in this thread.

every single time without failure they not only get a bite but a full hook up and landing, every time. i wish the people biting at what i can only describe as the worst bait known to man would swim by just for two or three days and let the thread develop into the unchallenged echo chamber it deserves to be.

after two or three days have a read at the dross being posted then laugh at just how gullible you have been to keep biting at bait tossed out by three expert fishermen. go on, give it a go just for sts and giggles.

as for the russian troll bots, putin could learn a thing or three from the above trio.

Indeed. Also, they’re not actually fishing, they genuinely believe everything they say.

agreed, you and alfie respond in kind, maybe i should take part more often,it just looks painful when catching up on a few pages. take tuna, posts tend to be informative and thought provoking , to me anyway. in a genuine discussion thread they would have great value. this thread is now a remainiac opinion assertion thread where any reasonable question or point raised is completely ignored in favour of posting more assertions as fact.

i just thought it would interesting to see how it would develop if the trio had no one biting for a few days, would it be back pats all round having seen off the nasty brexiteers, full steam ahead for eu ref 2 ,or would they become even more frustrated that the stupid brexiteers would no longer be subject to their infinitely greater wisdom and knowledge on everything. maybe i should just read the trump thread to see how that works out smile

i don't doubt they do, to the point they may well be good candidates for studies on various forms of mania in the future. however i do think they know exactly what they are doing on this thread.
