Nicholas Witchell just lost the plot live on BBC news , somewhat odd .
He did seem a bit distracted.
One comment is that perhaps he said "Anglo-American" and thought he might have said "Afro-American" and then got confused at wondering if he had got it wrong, and then forgetting which was correct and gave up.

Should call it ‘Brexit’.

This way the government can legitimately claim that Brexit has been delivered and we can all move on with our lives.

With all the media focus on this, normally the government and large corporations tend to release bad news in the hope it gets masked. I wonder what we've missed smile

As the new-born's temporary name seems to be 'Baby Sussex' could I suggest that when they get round to giving him a proper name they consider either East or West?
If they call it West then I will be demanding he fixes all the potholes on the commute to work in the morning and also extending the "no parking" area outside KFC in Horsham to stop fatties from blocking the left turn lane at the traffic lights because they can't walk more than 4 yards to pick up a trough of "chicken"

Oh, no, they've called it Archie

Bit of an odd choice. At least Archibald leaves some space for stuffiness.

If I were them I would strive to legitmise the names that disadvantage many people in the land of his mother's birth so he would have been called Lafonqwey or Shafoofa.
