Happy Trump Day one and all. Where is Unrepentant? I have seen him posting here and there once again, it is good to see that his pre election flounce has come to an end - either that or he didn't get signal/wifi at his cabin in the Oregon hills.
and it's Friday - always good, unless you're a shift worker or something awful like that.
Standby for the media coverage of liberal mouth frothing whilst trump looks on and waves/smiles and it's Friday - always good, unless you're a shift worker or something awful like that.
Not saying I'm yee-haw pro-Trump, I just like agents of disruption. The lib meltdown will be fun to watch tho, and seeing how stoney-faced Hillary manages to be!

I see the BBC are still campaigning for Hillary this morning.
"but what do we know about Donald Trump?"
cue 60 seconds of clips of Donald saying "the wrong thing" during the campaign.
The BBCs bias and coverage is a disgrace; nothing but thinly veiled anti-Trump stories, always gets in the stuff about protests and gives as much coverage to anti-Trump protests and what bands will be playing, his "thin skin" and temperament vis a vis nuclear codes. The bias is unbelievable."but what do we know about Donald Trump?"

After Brexit and this the BBC losing public funding cannot come soon enough. I don't buy the Guardian so why should I pay for BBC news to spout the same ste.
I don't mind news organisations having an agenda, we all know where they sit, but the BBC uniquely is supposed to be impartial, yet it is the most extreme by a country mile. I just don't understand how they get away with it.
I have two problems with Trump
1) I firmly believe that if it comes down to choice to doing what is best for the US and what is best for Trump, he will do what benefits him. I also really really want to see his tax returns - what is he hiding
2) He is appointing some really stupid people to his cabinet, just because they have donated large sums to him - https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/education/wp/2...

No I don't think they are anymore extreme but they all have a bias and the whole point is the BBC and its Journalists are supposed to be totally unbiased, Sky is sadly no different either. It seems that many journalists, Actors, Liberals, etc are still not wanting this guy or his republican party. Im not particularly a fan of some of the things President Elect Trump has said, but I do feel that a change in parties now and again is a good thing.
Sadly the reaction of the peace loving nimbys has been appalling in my book. The very same people who believe in democracy, yet refuse to believe this guy is going to be their President. I really hope the security services keep the protesters many miles away from this President's inauguration. As the media will ignore the great day and focus on the protests

The only person I can think of less suited to a presidential role than trump is that tubby little fella in North Korea.
this is the type of stuff I was referring to I'm sure you can find one or two that are less suited. I am, for example. You probably are too, as are many others on here.

It's politics not (just) personalities, so - for exanple - that rules out Democrats as being unsuited, if you're a staunch Republican.
Best Wishes to President Trump. A much needed change to the sad, rotten, neoliberal order that has done so much damage to the World over the last few decades.
Hopefully the childish, whining, crybaby crowd will settle down - though they were busy overnight escalating their petty, smallminded, ILliberal mindset to violence (no surprises there, eh?):

Really, what has the world come to when the whole liberal ethos has been hijacked and tarnished by a bunch of badly raised and obviously intellectually incoherent people? The people who fought for actual liberal values would be rolling in their grave at the antics of those claiming to be liberal-minded these days.
