I can't see Social Security on that list?

My list was the recent PROPOSED law which restricted the acceptable ID, since that was what amusingduck was asking about.

first, I didn't post a quote at all, when you questioned it I posted a full quote

then you posted a further completely different short quote from another time and place, wholly out of context, which went against the whole run of the interview it was taken from

so what does that say?

is it as stupid as suggesting Obama literally founded ISIS?
(not a quote)

You referred to a quote, then posted the quote you referred to.

I posted a quote providing critical context to your quote -- namely Trump explaining what he meant in your quote.

The full quote is from the Hewitt interview, as linked in the CNN piece (the purpose of which you also misunderstood).

The rest of your post is a distraction, attacking Trump on a different issue -- namely, inconsistency.

So we have come full circle. You posted a quote out of the context needed to understand the quote -- in other words you are manipulative.

You are free to keep digging, but it is getting boring.

Who cannot obtain an ID even with the the new (proposed) Texas requirements ?
And yes, in life you have to make a modicum of effort to vote.

As we have seen recently in the UK and the USA, small groups can and do make a large difference even (more so?) in national votes. As such, those who are allowed to vote should prove they have that right prior to allowing that vote as it effects the rights of others.

How would you do it then and be sure of avoiding the fraud we saw from Labour in London for example ?

I referred to something he'd said, then posted the full quote - you accuse me of some kind of dishonesty because I didn't search for everything he's ever said on the subject

it's getting boring? then stop making stuff up

What I think is that you thought I was referring to one quote "He was the founder. His, the way he got out of Iraq was that that was the founding of ISIS, okay?" (the interview that you posted) when I was referring to the rally speech “In fact, in many respects, you know they honour President Obama, Isis is honouring President Obama. He is the founder of Isis. He is the founder of Isis. He’s the founder. He founded Isis. " then tried to dig yourself out of it
one sentence in an one-on-one interview where he contradicts himself, versus a yooge rally where he shouts it out 4 times

never mind, boring is right, mutter something about cognitive dissonance and put a smiley face

The simple point is that the current list is fine. Every investigation to date has shown absolutely de minimis fraud.
If you are a fan of democracy you want more people to vote not fewer.

I am sure plenty of the 5% without something from the new list could go and sort it out but many won't and that helps Republicans win owing to the demographics of that 5%.

I tend to agree with you to be honest, but I am just trying to explain why proposed changes are controversial.

More digging. Quotes are here, including the parts you leave out: http://www.hughhewitt.com/donald-trump-makes-retur...

Even the interviewer agrees with him, apart from his style of delivery. Nothing in the inverview concerning his view on the pull-out, which clearly changed over time, and, as noted, is a separate issue.

Will forgoe the smiley since it bothers you.

what about the quotes of the rally speech that I was actually talking about? not a ten minute chat he had over the garden fence in 1962? if you want to post everything he's ever said, in the interests of full exposure

I wouldn't bother he's going to roll out more 'alternative facts' to fit his narrative rather than have the courage to criticise that spray tanned moron.

I saw the MLK bust story coming weeks ago, there was a certain inevitability in that story being run the moment he moved into the White House, regardless of verification (the desire to run it more than outweighing the certainty of an almost immediate retraction and apology, they just couldn't resist).

There is also the fact that Trump took 20 of his people with him to the CIA meeting and they were the ones cheering and clapping for his speech. There is video evidence which shows this.

A story about Munchkin's mortgage lending practices related to his Senate Tres Sec nomination grilling on that very subject (presumably if it's a fake story he'll be suing the press responsible. After the current lawsuit regarding OneWest's mishandling of thousands of mortgages is heard of course), the MLK bust gaff being whipped up again, and a non-story about Trump blowing a kiss to the CIA.

Those pesky pressers!

That's almost definitely True. In fact if it's gone to Court then I'm sure it will have been reported somewhere, won't it?
