The economic consequences of Brexit (Vol 2)

Deutsche Bank have kinda countered that with plans to pull out $350bn of balance sheet from London back to Frankfurt post Brexit. On the surface this may seem a negative effect of Brexit.
Unfortunately, I suspect the reasons are NOT Brexit at all; but increasing equivalence with US regulatory standards and BoE gold plating banking regulations. Both the SEC and BoE are holding banks to greater risk standards whilst the EU continue to can kick and promote lower risk standards for banks. Its going to be very difficult for European banks to survive globally without radical restructuring. As for moving EUR clearing out of London, that's all but dead. Going to be difficult to move it to Europe when most of the fibre optic cabling from the US runs to blighty (not to mention no one can afford the higher margin costs). Doh!

I was wondering which Remain voting moron would go off on one about chlorine chicken, and sure enough.
So kipper, so old, so angry, so predictable. At 1am. Aren't you in Portugal by now, thought you were going on hols?
Anyway, the Remainers who harp on about the economic tragedy coming and have been doing so jumping up and f down ever since the result, telling us tales of woe to come, like the new electric Mini will be built in Germany putting thousands of jobs at risk here.
Ha fking ha.
BMW has just announced the new electric Mini will be built... guess where?
Ho ho ho.
I wonder if they are in receipt of a similar letter to Nissan?

I'm not sure why would you think that I'm angry. But if it makes a life where you log in, wait for it, at 1 am to rant about who posts about chicken, even a little bit more tolerable, feel free. If anything I'm kind to less fortunate.

You are still not able to type anything meaningful on why going off on one about chicken in the terms of a trade deal with the US looks a little silly and desperate.
Oh, I did ask that you don't bother to speak to me here. Despite a £10 bet towards some mental health care for you, you are still unable to resist replying, in a no way stalker/obsessive I just can't leave it alone type way. If not for me, for the sake of the forum and other users, don't reply.

///ajd will have been at the Mini meeting so will confirm snide deals have been done.I wonder if they are in receipt of a similar letter to Nissan?
Ah, but hang on. BMW have stated they neither sought nor received any assurances... Crikey. Fancy that.
Maybe Nissan got nothing after all. Maybe ///ajd fell sleep at an inopportune moment.
Where is he anyway. He's been harping on about the lack of investment in the car industry for days now. You'd think he'd be in here showing his relief

Looking at the internet at 1am ! How dare I go past your 9pm cut off time when mummy puts you to bed, tucks you in tightly and tells you it'll be OK when you have to flee the UK due to Brexit. How the plans developing for that BTW ?

Calm down. As I said, if these angry little rants help you in any way to get through the day, by all means. After all, it would be cruel not to help someone that i consider disposable entertainment. I'm not cruel. You are still not able to type anything meaningful on why going off on one about chicken in the terms of a trade deal with the US looks a little silly and desperate.

Investment in the UK car industry. Facts. Not lies.
2015 £2.5bn
2016 £1.6bn
2017 £0.6bn
Brexiteers destroy their beloved car industry.

Beloved? You're talking about the country that would buy a Porsche over a Lotus ten times to one, a country that owns no mainstream car manufacturer, that obsesses over Audi, Ferrari and even the Honda NSX. The car industry here is not beloved.2015 £2.5bn
2016 £1.6bn
2017 £0.6bn
Brexiteers destroy their beloved car industry.

Then, (without being able to read the FT article)... we're half way through the year and investment is a little down on the full expenditure last year (if I understand your figures). That's in a year where we've had a General Election, European Elections and huge uncertainty over the US. A year where Asia has massively scaled down global (and in particular foreign) investment and where the fall out of dieselgate is still unwinding.
But no, apparently it's the fault of a Brexit that hasn't happened yet. You'll have noted the large investments from Nissan and Toyota that were announced earlier this year were 'despite Brexit'.
And then... where are the previous figures.. If you are only willing to go back two years, that doesn't really paint a picture of where the industry is going, nor how volatile large scale investment is. Where are the equivalent figures for France, Italy and Germany for comparison?
Great. Just great.
The people who love to bash the "elite" and the "bankers" have just send a stload of manufacturing jobs and investment to our nearest rivals.
All predicted, of course, by the "remoaners".

What a blessing compared to reading that childish nonsense from both of you.
The only childish nonsense worth reading is my own of course.

Sorry, I'll try and get it in before your 9pm bedtime next time. I just wonder where the laser like personal focus on people with different views comes from, why you hate yourself so much that you project it constantly. Sad!
