I know you lot are anti-science but it shows how embarrassingly weak your position is when even the Catholic church accepts something that you will not. Holy

The Catholic church accepts quite a few things that I will not. Like God's existence despite the complete lack of proof. And buggering the choirboys.

As in, one religion depending on faith aligning itself with another religion depending on faith.True belief spawns true belief; seems entirely reasonable with no science involved.

Get something wrong, mess with the existence of a lot of humans, pass the blame off elsewhere.
This being the politics thread it's probably worth observing that many "Senior Government Advisors" appear to honour such traits and a few of them are all about Science we are told. Presumably they are Political Scientists.
Presumably in the fairly near future the Vatican will issue a decree regarding family sizes in line with "carbon" targets.

Cook considered published papers and used a definition that mankind had caused most post-1950 warming. On this definition the true consensus among published scientific papers has been demonstrated to be only 0.3% not 97.1% as Cook claimed. Only 41 out of the 11,944 published climate papers Cook examined had explicitly concluded that mankind caused most of the warming since 1950. This claimed consensus is false.
The Doran survey also involved a 97% 'result' which came about from 10,256 questionnaires with only 3,146 respondents. Their responses were conveniently narrowed down to 75 out of 77 “expert” ’active climate researchers’ (chosen by the survey people) to give another false 97% consensus figure.
Attrition loops are loopy. Loop on baby!

Can you guys sort out your quoting, please? Thx.
Quite right - I've edited my posts.Allegedly, non-existent manmade global warming caused Haymarket to adopt a single skin for PH, and quoting suffered as a result. The cost of this suffering wasn't included in the Stern Report - typical shoddy agw rowlocks.

Indeed it does. This thread is testament to that.Politics is a form of belief system although not necessarily a consistent one.
Transient views and variable support are the hallmarks of politics. It induces people to make poor decisions within their aura of power, sometimes without actually doing the job for which they were appointed it seems.

Talking of awol manmade global warming, there's more fake news and it's largely political.Phew.

You're saying the failed theory of man made global warming is endorsed by the Ministry of Silly Frocks, therefore it is true...?
Your reasoning becomes more bizarre by the day...
Todays Beeb CC puff story ;-
Great Barrier Reef: Two-thirds damaged in 'unprecedented' bleaching
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-39524196
Unprecedented coral bleaching in consecutive years has damaged two-thirds of Australia's Great Barrier Reef, aerial surveys have shown.
The bleaching - or loss of algae - affects a 1,500km (900 miles) stretch of the reef, according to scientists.
The latest damage is concentrated in the middle section, whereas last year's bleaching hit mainly the north.
Experts fear the proximity of the two events will give damaged coral little chance to recover.
Prof Terry Hughes, from James Cook University, said governments must urgently address climate change to prevent further bleaching.
Er, I thought others here had shown the coral bleaching is nothing to do with CC.

Nice one! Somebody should remind Tel that corals have survived for 500 million years during which time they've endured temperatures greater than the current era aka the Adjustocene.Great Barrier Reef: Two-thirds damaged in 'unprecedented' bleaching

It might be worth another reminder that healthy corals 'acidify' the oceans around them and thrive in these conditions. Tel may well want to look at results from Dr Andreas Andersson's team over at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography as posted in several PH climate threads.

It's remarkable how nature consistently goes along with the global warming scam. Do you think corals and oceans are in on the conspiracy? i know you won't read this link, but others may be interested https://wattsupwiththat.com/2017/04/05/falling-sea... lots of links contained within to studies surrounding the various phenomena linked to bleaching events .far too difficult for the virtue signalers at the bbc to parse, easier for them to pronounce "because co2 man made global warming" .
