Perhaps to (wind) you up, you did leave yourself open to it to be honest .
Doesn't wind me up in the slightest - I can't fathom the prowess in writing papers blah blah and then making up words that then make him sound like a 'Tard. As someone said a page ago - it has a cringe Clarksonesque tone to it.

Heat Has Been Declining For Decades Despite USA Government Reports

Attribution without detection so they can't see an invisible signal after all
Reminds me of IPCC faith in the IPCC's own faith.

Appallingly in the NCA report, they can’t find evidence that all the claims they have made about the future are really happening so they invent a pathway to claim success. This problem is solved by a technique they call ”attribution without detection”. In other words “don’t believe your lying eyes, trust us”.

This linked article (hopefully not paywalled even though it might seem to be) explains the background and how some developers are adjusting to the policy.

And also from the WindPowerMonthly site some of your previous queries spoken about :This linked article (hopefully not paywalled even though it might seem to be) explains the background and how some developers are adjusting to the policy.

"As the industry heads away from subsidies and towards projects undertaken at merchant risk, and as the authorities in countries such as Germany actively encourage zero-subsidy bids, what might be the long-term implications? Could undertaking projects at merchant risk rebound on the industry later on? Are the auction systems currently being used fit-for-purpose in this new environment?"
The industry terminology needs more digging and learning time than I have at this instant but Mr. Guillet's points seem to be generally talking about the same thing as I have mentioned before in respect of Holland and Germany.
The UK situation seems to be described as bidding for a guaranteed fixed price to be paid even if the spot price is less (because later installations have even cheaper guaranteed prices?) But any extra income from high peak spot prices is taken back.
I'm sure someone somewhere will have a market game plan to try out at some point but what strikes me is that the North Sea is being set up as a multi-market generation source where, presumably, the owners can send their output to whichever market needs it - and might therefore be offering a high price at the time.
I imagine that there would need to be more controls in place to manage that risk.
Either that or all the parties just enjoy a free-for-all battle over pricing at peak demand times.
'Cyborg' bacteria deliver green fuel source from sunlight
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-4097...
Scientists have created bacteria covered in tiny semiconductors that generate a potential fuel source from sunlight, carbon dioxide and water.
The so-called "cyborg" bugs produce acetic acid, a chemical that can then be turned into fuel and plastic.
In lab experiments, the bacteria proved much more efficient at harvesting sunlight than plants.
The work was presented at the American Chemical Society meeting in Washington.
Researchers have been attempting to artificially replicate photosynthesis for many years.......continues
Oh look, it needs CO2 to 'work' !!!

Interesting, so long as they are controllable and don't work without human intervention.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-4097...

'Hero' of Paris climate agreement dies
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-4101...
Former Marshall Islands foreign minister Tony De Brum, who played a key role in securing the Paris climate pact has passed away aged 72.
At countless UN climate meetings, Mr De Brum was a passionate champion of the rights of small island states.
He was instrumental in securing the "high ambition coalition" of rich and poor countries that was pivotal to a deal in the French capital.......continues
So the Beeb awards 'hero' status does it? Bit of an insult to truly heroic persons.

Typical jiggerypokery trying to rewrite history because the junkscience is clearly junk - the planet didn't behave itself so past data needs diddling and the blip erasing just as Moore's inconvenient revelations are being erased by greenpeas.Hide the decline, hide the blip, hide anything that threatens the faith and the grants and the influence.
Such a shame..........
The advisory group's charter expired on 20 August, and Trump administration officials informed members late last week that it would not be renewed. “It really makes me worried and deeply sad,” says Richard Moss, a climate scientist at the University of Maryland in College Park and co-chair of the committee. “It’s another thing that is just part of the political football game.”

I could of chosen a "Skeptic" link but found this one more amusing
Edited to delete some stuff that was sort of wrong!

Not a good time for those affected but with the USA experiencing a decline in landfall hurricanes there had to be one at some point. The decline goes against cc doctrine but reality doesn't matter in climate fairytales.
The author is clueless and spouting the same leftist drivel that smothers climate discussion these days.
Tipping points are so Gordon Brown and Prince Charles, in other words, complete bilge.
There's bound to be a ready outlet for hysterics given Trump's position. We can expect more of the same.

Anyway, there's been some demolition of Harvey hysteria and about time.
