i am sure tb has won many noble prizes for his contributions to science over the years. i doubt he would want one of those nobel prizes though, seriously tainted in relation to "science" given some of the bellends they have been awarded to in the recent past (al gore being one, and sex pest pachauri part of the ipcc group).

hehe

Praise be to Gaia for political prizes awarded for political purposes, Obama's prize-for-what a case in point.

I can examine data which is available to anyone with the interest to look for it, spot political activism, and see when believers are struggling and protesting too much. For ploughing through loop after loop of climate faithful foolishness and burying it there ought to be a Nobull Prize smile we'd have several winners.

When will believers understand causality in this context...well they just can't or it's game over. There should be an award for seeing invisible entities that ought to be visible and believing others who say they can see such things, then all believers can have prizes.

For Nobel Prize hilarity see under Mann and the Nobel Committee response to his self-aggrandising posturing.

With climate politics still in mind: a climate group is pondering the efforts being made to recruit more female authors. Shirley Jo is enough for anyone, and more than enough for Harrabin.

Small steps.
First convince a car enthusiast's website of the global scientific conspiracy, then the world!
PH is the obvious place to repeatedly post unbiased scientific proof of the AGW scam.

I'll post this up here - it covers much of what has been and is being discussed.

Obviously, the cognoscenti will already be familiar with all of this...

Well, you don’t get other scientists proving you wrong so it’s probably a great place to disprove a scientific consensus to yourself and 5 people.

Harder obviously to take your data (or whoever's homework it is) to a place where you have to debate with actual experts.

Here you can discredit them from a distance and get affirmation from the echo chamber.

Did your work out why they’re not doing anything with their evidence of a global scientific scam yet? Every time I ask, I get snowed under by turbowaffle.

Turbospam already said he really dislikes peer review.
Can't think why that'd be....

You don't need CC 'science', half an ounce of commonsense tells you that a minute change in a gas, vital to keep the planet functioning, won't change a thing. How do I know that? Because it's happened many times in the Earths 4.5 billion years. Have a look at the Planets climate while dinosaurs lived 50,000,000 years!! And as sure as eggs are eggs, the planet is going to get warmer, or colder. Which way would you prefer?

Well that convinced me.
Thanks, man-in-the-pub smile
No need to bother with all that scientific consensus, global governmental & seats of learning stuff now.

Well therein lies the problem.
I ain't a climate scientist.
This is a car forum.
Maybe you should put your thesis as such it is, to the relevant heads of climate research at say Cambridge or Oxford Universities and see if you've just refuted AGW in a sentence or two.

Keep posting in a car forum dude, I'm sure you'll overturn 'em all.
Just a matter of time.

One simple question for you then. You have a choice. Planet warmer or colder?

When will you get it through your skull that the so called consensus (which you keep ignoring has fk all to do with science anyway) has already been shown to be a load of bks !

Thanks for the trick question, man-in-the-pub.
I'd rather we, as a species, didn't exacerbate either.

Ideally though, I run & cycle in the mornings, so a couple of degrees warmer this time of year between 06:00 & 08:00 could be useful.
And of course a few degrees cooler in the height of Summer.

I'm not looking to overturn a global governmental/scientific/seat of learning consensus.

From the article linked to earlier:

Article said:
Maintenance of their funding and livelihood requires climate scientists to tread a fine line between emphasizing the uncertainties in climate science and selling the idea of disastrous anthropogenic global warming.
It's not particularly partisan, and recognises that there are still fundamental issues to be resolved, a toxic culture which stifles discussion, and with funding restriction looming, fear has to be turned up to factor 11 to ensure research continues coz the science ain't settled.
