Massive news, Saudi Arabia is going to allow women to drive.
This is either a new age of Saudi reforms (no seriously, ok not really) or the spark for the extremist nutters to revolt and depose the Monarchy.

It is as if those campaigning for Women's Rights have had a small victory. I wonder how this fact will play out the next time we get someone on a thread in NPE saying there is "no point for women to campaign because look at how bad it is in Saudi Arabia" This is either a new age of Saudi reforms (no seriously, ok not really) or the spark for the extremist nutters to revolt and depose the Monarchy.

I think we can all agree that allowing playthings to drive is the beginning of the end for any civilised society.
Next they'll be able to divorce their husbands & the husbands will be moaning about it on random internet forums.
I think the men will regret this move. Accident stats are bound to go up along with insurance premiums. And it's not as if they need the women to drive them to the pub, is it!Next they'll be able to divorce their husbands & the husbands will be moaning about it on random internet forums.
I agree with you, slippery slope.
