No doubt he means well. Like Mr Bean he has good intentions and no sense of priorities beyond the immediate next righting of a social injustice.

However , a far greater social injustice will be the inability to do trade deals with China and India , the incipient failure of NAFTA,and the investment-killing tax load and disastrous energy policy.

I am surely no fan of Chinese domestic policies for instance but it is incredibly naive to think that a country as small as Canada economically can succeed in imposing Canadian cultural priorities into a trade deal. Even worse, try embedding Canadian values into a trade deal with that mild and flexible Donald Trump.

The 7th paragraph starts with, "And all that would be fine." - it should be followed with "But he's actually a Prime Minister of a real proper country"

These people shouldn't be allowed scissors with pointy ends let alone any actual power - they're so damn dangeroius.

Great reply further down the feed, hehe

I'm thinking there's a reason marijuana legalization was at the top of his to-do list

Weakest, most incompetent PM I have ever experienced in Canada. Embarrassing to be leading. ( Of course, I suppose he isn't in fact leading at all)......

Part of the problem is, the vast majority of his party is equally stupid/corrupt/morally bankrupt/ideologically possessed/insane that he can attribute all the criticism to political envy and politically motivated opposition.

He lives in an echo chamber of stupidity while most people, even the damned fools that voted for him (yes Harper was a st) can't stand him or his policies.

I was no fan of Harper as an individual, which is completely different from not being a supporter of his policies.
He did a complement job of managing the economy.
It was a shame that he had such little personality when people wanted magic and daffodils.
I have at times voted Liberal..( Chretien/Martin when Martin was Finance minister). but not for a moment was I tempted to vote for JT. Awful, awful PM and not surrounded by competence.

Let's face it, when you select your cabinet solely on the basis of achieving a 50/50 gender make up, you are hardly likely to have all the best people.
Putting a little thought into who might be best for a position, which by no means does or should exclude women, might have been a more sensible plan.
It seems especially nonsensical when the elected Liberal members of parliament were 70% men, 30% women.

Countries are not run by the signalling of virtue to ideologues that make up a tiny fraction of the population.

If ever the 'road to hell is paved with good intentions' should apply.

These fking idiots don't realise that hard people will just sit and wait until everything is softened up nicely and simply walk over them. No fight required.
