I wonder if Spray tanning places are going to get raided ?
Like window tints, is there a level of tan darkness that, once breached goes into cultural insensitivity ?
I saw white women on holiday that were darker than actual black and Asian people I know.
I think we need to stay away from blacking up, or browning up as it is just so delicate now as a concept, no real need to do it, best not, see also pensioners rattling on about bloody Jam Jar Logos, just leave it.
Its only fairly recently that David Walliams and Matt Lucas were blacking up, as black ladies and Asian men, with full prosthetics and accents in come fly with me, I am white but it never felt like it was offensive to me, but maybe it does if you are Black or Asian ? cant see there being another series of "Come Fly with me"
this is still fairly new that its an absolute no no, when this guy dressed as a genie it probably felt ok, part of the costume, its 18 years ago and the rules have more recently been reiterated, ok, got it now, no blacking up (Not that I ever have !)

k. Given the image he sets and the way he conducts himself with his inclusive agenda I'm very surprised this has remained out of the media for so long. All those people who must have known him back in those days and were present during his blacking up exploits.

The Democrats are not left-wing though. There isn't really any left-wing politics in the US mainstream. Is it just historic blackface/brownface that's deemed offensive? For my sins, i went to the world premiere of Lenny Henry's attempt to break into Hollywood, when he spent most of the film whiteface trying to pass himself off as a mafia member. 
It was called true identity.
Best thing about the night was betty boo was sat in front of me.
