The US is a nation that only sees itself as a nation in very loose and general terms.

I love how you accuse people of suffering cognitive dissonance whilst displaying the very signs of it.

You were called out yesterday and appear to have completely ignored it in favour of another subject - classic behaviour. hehe

In case you have forgotten:
No need to get so emotional. I didn't see that response. The second quote from the Irish interview is acceptable as he mentions no conditions. Regardless, it just leads us back to the fact that he says he is under audit. Will he release? We shall see.
what about the other lies, are you just going to keep ignoring them?

With the US tax rules, laws etc. What exactly is under audit?

And is this an excuse where he is being disingenuous?

My guess is that the IRS think he's a dodgy s hell scamming twunt and therefore go through his books with a fine toothcomb.

I reckon politicians are liars, it goes with the turf, so with that out of the way, the latest act to rescind Obama-era federal guidance involves putting the matter in the hands of each State, as such any State could continue as before.

That he thinks its important enough to bother adressing it in his first month says it all to me unless you can explain otherwise?

Possibly - there's nothing to stop him releasing his returns while they're being audited. Nixon did exactly that ( http://www.esquire.com/news-politics/videos/a52466... ).

http://www.esquire.com/news-politics/videos/a52466... sets out the various commitments by Trump to publish his returns at some point.

Says all of what? Where does it say anyone on PH has to explain anything Trump does? Your mysterious unwritten explanation may be on the money or it may not. Getting inside the minds of political animals isn't easy, there's so little room.

If such questions are permissible, and you really are good at explaining such things, then if any State decides NOT to maintain the former federal guidance, what's your explanation for that?

It was a rhetorical question. You are right understanding politicians is difficult. My opinion is that 'Says it all' means that he doesnt care about LGBT people or he wouldnt have been concerned enough to do anything with Obamas ruling in his first month. It wasnt an pressing issue was it? Its easy points for him as I believe he thinks it will appeal to some of his voters and will also distract them from the fact he hasnt done anything else in his first month.

I was very disappointed over the Jake Turx thing, such a horrible response to such a soft ball non agenda question. It's stuff on that level that really puts me off.

Take a look at what Mike Pence did in Indiana. The man is a religious bigot obsessed with denying rights to Muslims, women, gays and the transgender community. This has his fingerprints all over it.

As another PHer said on this thread earlier today, this could be GOPping, and not Trump's instinct at work. He may have been sincere with that LGBT tweet back in the day but has found that practical politics within a Party means you have to compromise your position sometimes. Such realpolitik is partly why it's tricky not to be seen as a liar when you're a political animal or wannabe. Alternatively his tweet may have been baloney, we don't know. Anyway it's in the hands of each State now.

As an aside, has Sticky been banned? He set up a whingy post about moderation the other day, making out his usual victim status, and I've done nothing wrong stuff. The thread has been closed and he's either sulking or has been banned.

Come back Sticky, I miss you.

Used to work part of the time just down the road from one of the places he describes. So glad I don't have to do that now, ex colleagues hate it. Further north on the Baltic coast, Brynas area of Gävle, wouldn't go there if you paid me. According to ex colleagues unofficially or officially, depends who you talk to, Sweden has 53 so called no go areas. The polis do not call them no go areas but admit that they are areas controlled by criminals where they are prevented from fulfilling their duties. 15 of the 53 are particularly high risk.

This information is from the horse's mouth, so to speak, not from any publication with an agenda.

Like it or not, these situations should make uncomfortable reading. Meanwhile the virtue signallers are too busy tweeting, # lastnightinsweden, set of clowns frankly.

One of the public comments from that article: Not keen on immigrant criminals, but not keen on 'Rob' either.
If i don't want to pick a side is that OK?

Third world nations and Muslim nations are poor and violent because of 1. the people, 2. the culture, and 3. the cult of hate, death, and violence known as Islam. Sweden, and really all of western Europe, will face the same violent collapse. Economically, western Europe will be made poor by importing a less intelligent, less productive workforce. Crime will be rampant, especially if you're a white female... you will likely be a rape victim, a sad sexual toilet for the invaders. Soon, countries like America and Australia will have to cut travel off to Europe because its Muslim population is too dangerous. Hillary would have done the same thing to America, completing Obama's mission. God had a different plan for America as we purge our foreigners and fight our crime wave. Trump was right about Sweden, and it's such a sad waste."

hehe Funnily enough walking into the office one day with one of my neighbours, a native Swede who was in no way racist btw having adopted two children from India, was having a bit of a rant that morning about immigrants. I pointed out that I was invandrare, (an immigrant), to which he replied "Men du är en av oss." (But you are one of us.)

Guess I was one of the "good" immigrants, you know, speaking Swedish, observing the correct rules at julbord and so on.

That is the difference, put in a little effort to learn to communicate in the language spoken in the country, and try to adopt, at least a little tiny bit, you don't have to eat surströmming and listen to dansbandsmusik nonstop, but FFS at least try not to riot, shoot and torch cars every bloody night.
