how come there's not been more media attention?
I suspect Trump went after the "swamp" because something he wanted was tripped up, he was not doing it for the ordinary people. Only he seems to be employing a lot of it.
Holy toe nails. He is claiming credit for Brexit.

Trump is the absolute proof that the Presidential candidate SELECTION PROCESS is broken.
The actual system of how the US is run isn't broken at all. The fact that Trump is struggling mightilly to get any of his hare brained, cockamamie laws through Congress proves government is working wonderfully.
Trump is a wake up call to those who select the candidates for the Presidential race and maybe, just maybe, that is the lesson to be learned from this debacle

Well that's the end of his Muslim ban.
Approval rating down to 35%.
The senate have taken over the Russia / Trump investigation. Screw the puppet Nunes, the adults are in charge now. This isn't going to go well for the orange bigot.

I'm sure Turbospam must have told us at some stage that there is no proven causation link between a poor performance as President & having the lowest approval rating in history.Well that's the end of his Muslim ban.

He probably has some totally un-tinkered with data somewhere that demonstrates this.

This would fit that narrative, back of the queue indeed.

I see he is continuing to redevelop the swamp in to a golf resort for his friends and family.
He has now appointed Ivanka as an official White House employee - Assistant to the President.
I expect she'll do a great job of telling her Dad where he is going wrong.
Mind you, in influence on anything at all.He has now appointed Ivanka as an official White House employee - Assistant to the President.

Unrep - I bow to no-one in my loathing of the Orange Bigot. However....Well that's the end of his Muslim ban.

1. Approval ratings are irrelevant.
2. The Russia/Trump is a 24-carat gold example of his opponents punching fog. It's a meaningless distraction which, even if cast iron proof is found of Trump taking it in the rear from Putin, will have zero impact. ALL this was hinted at during the election. You literally had the US's biggest enemies endorsing Trump. He still won.
3. The Muslim ban is a 200% win for Trump because (a) the amount of publicity it's generated will convince his supporters that he hates Muslims (WIN) (b) it's the liberal elite who are making America weak (WIN) and (c) when there's a Muslim attack anywhere in the world he will tweet about how right he is about everything, EVEN IF what's happened is completely unrelated .

I tend to agree, but the thing I don't get on this Hawaiian ruling is... 3. - the reasons around the inclusion of the 6 countries on the list, as stated, are not because they are Muslim countries (they aren't 100%). Whether Trump himself hates Muslims or not is irrelevant IF the reasons for their inclusion are genuinely as stated. Similarly he isn't including all Muslim nations either. The argument seems really weak to me.
2) Impact to the state's economy seems tenuous in the extreme to me. I would love to see the data that proves a material impact as a result of this ban to the state's economy.
On the face of it you would think both angles would be easy to quash by a half decent lawyer. So I guess there are a few possibilities
- he doesn't have a half decent lawyer. Unlikely. He must have needed one regularly.
- there is decent cause to prove the two angles above are valid. That's not going to end well for Trump IMO. Having people think you're a Racist is one thing. Proving it is another,no matter how keen some quarters may be on positive vetting (and I'm not entirely against it myself)
- he's fine to let this slide and as you note raise hell about it when there's an incident (abroad or home - I can only imagine what would happen if the latter).
From what's been reported the judge's verdict seems odd (before anyone asks how long I've been a US judge, don't bother. "From what's being reported"). Trump not fighting it would seem damning to me.
It is interesting that the REPUBLICAN Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Richard Burr, has stood up and publicly stated that they will not allow any interference from the White House in their investigations.
Increasingly, both Republican and Democratic Senators and Congressmen are seeing that the Trump Administration has no respect for and is engaged in open warfare against the democratic institutions of the nation.
They will not stand for that, no matter where their political affiliations may lie.

The speculation is what was the leak discovered why he ran to Trump, and why did Trump not go to Mar-A-Lago last weekend. The are reports he'd gone to Virginia and avoided mar-a-Lago after being told by nunes of intercepted communications from members of his administration team at mar-a-Lago.
Nunes let slip that someone in Trumps team was under investigation for their links to the Russians. In an interview with Fox News he said: “If you look at the folks that are working at the White House today, that are involved in the Trump administration, I don’t think there’s any but one there that is under any type of investigation or surveillance activities at all.”
Any but one
Then a leak led Nunes to run to the white house to tell Trump something, not just about the surveillance. Someone with a FISA warrant on them? Epshteyns links to Russia?
Boris Epshteyn has resigned from Trumps administration. Epshteyn was one of Trumps press officials and was rumoured to be source E referenced in the Steele dossier, who provided the "introduction" that led to the kompromat tape allegation in the Moscow hotel.
Judging by the "accidents" that have happened to other Russians linked to Trump, he'd better watch his back?
