The US Postal Service created a stamp with a picture of President Trump, but the new stamp was not sticking to envelopes

This enraged the President who demanded a full investigation.
After weeks of testing and $1.73 million in congressional spending, a special Presidential commission presented the following findings:
The stamp is in perfect order.
There is nothing wrong with the adhesive.
People are spitting on the wrong side.

That made me laugh - way too much

You're not thinking for yourself. There is nothing wrong with the way he expressed himself in relation to GDP. Even the Fed quote GDP and GDI in percentage terms.

Here's a quote from the US Department of Commerce.

"For the fourth quarter of 2016, the percent change in real GDI was revised from 1.0 percent to -1.4 percent based on newly available fourth-quarter tabulations from the BLS Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages program."
The clue is in the "percentage change" preface. Without that, GDI is an absolute number. Not a percentage (change).

If my bonus falls by 1.4% I haven't got a negative bonus.

Hope that helps

You won't be getting a bonus son, your pay will be cut by 1.4%.

Hope that helps.

You're changing the goalposts/not understanding the point again. Getting no bonus still doesn't make it a negative bonus. No one compared it to total pay. That's your extrapolation.

Again we've got to fish around for a possible interpretation of what the orange clown says.

The president of the USA couldn't remember which country he had just bombed.

It's still not going to be "below zero" though is it granddad?

The last quarter, it was just announced, our gross domestic product -- a sign of strength, right? But not for us. It was below zero. Who ever heard of this? It's never below zero.
Only Trump could be doubly incorrect

Hope that helps

Is there anything he has genuinely done which he said he would? The healthcare bill is on its way I think but is that it? Everything else seems to be a ridiculous nonsense.

Good one. rofl
Did you slip in an extra R on the end of he?

Recklessness with national security - like telling people where the nuclear subs were, or boasting about secret information, discussing responses at the Mar-a-Lago dinner table, caught having leaked Israeli classified intel to the Russians before his overseas trip, and then he blurted out additional classified details about that Israeli intel while he was holding a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Israel.
Calculating dishonesty and/or incompetence - I have the most numbers, the biggest ratings and teh Donald constantly makes stuff up.
brazen profiteering from office.- well ethics issues all over the place with him not giving up his business empire, doubling the membership fees at Mar-A-Lago for people to meet Trump (which seems to work as a number of members have now been employed by the administration)

I think you need a better example

Mike Dubke: White House communications director quits

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-40090865

"President Trump is reported to have been frustrated with White House messaging.
He recently raised the idea of scrapping the daily news briefing altogether and holding one himself every fortnight."
^^^
I'd watch that for comedy value.

I am going to be working on a ship that sails weekly from Galveston, Texas, for the next 4 months.

I am expecting a lot of Trump voters amongst my audiences( I'm a musician). I am already wondering whether to ever engage in any discussion about the subject. I am leaning towards trying to avoid it, as I am concerned that nobody who supports this man seems willing or able to carry out rational discussion.

Some years ago on another American ship, I once mentioned that my home town was the birthplace of Charles Darwin. 'HE WAS A LIAR!!!' came an anguished cry from the back of the venue.

Where does one even start...........?

Sing a few verses of "The Yellow Rose of Texas" or "El Paso" and you'll have them in the palm of your hand smile

You're there to sing and play - not enter into political discussions.

I'd stay quiet unless you can assess that the individual you are discussing with is "normal".

Doll Hands' twitter account has gained 5 million new followers in the last 3 days. Almost all bots. Almost half of his followers are now flagged as fake (bots). Something is afoot. Is this his 'war room' swinging into action? scratchchin
