Couldn't agree more.

Any truly patriotic American should be very, very concerned with who currently sits in The White House. I really believe that the USA is in danger with this clown in office. It's nothing to do with whether a person is a Republican or a Democrat or if they are an aggrieved Hillary Clinton voter.

This is about the state of the nation and those who are supposedly safeguarding it on behalf of the people.

may I appeal to 'the left' to please stop assuming everyone who is concerned with facts and evidence is a Trump supporter?
I don't think that is in the rules if you saying anything about Trump that is not negative you are a "Trumpeteer".
Some people who are watching from a distance do find it fascinating to watch the Democrats still crying and gnashing their teeth over the loss.

There are quite a few Republicans gnashing their teeth (and biting their tongues) at the moment too.

I wonder how long they can keep it up.

which republicans are 'gnashing their teeth' and how is that different, 'at the moment', to the preceding 6 months and the long election/selection campaigns before it?

There is a hard core of support for Trump...it is quite scary, but his base believes in him and there appears to be little erosion. A lot of angry frustrated people in the US these days.

"The true patriotism, the only rational patriotism, is loyalty to the Nation ALL the time, loyalty to the Government when it deserves it". Mark twain.

I have heard quite a few talk on various news programmes about their reservations. I can't name them all. They aren't all senators or congressmen, of course. Some are ex White House staff who served under Reagan and the Bushes so are used to dealing with "proper" Presidents and are frankly bemused by what is going on.

I'm not sure why you are enquiring about any differences between pre and post election critcism of Trump by Republicans. I don't think that matters much. Those Republicans who didn't like him before probably dislike him even more now, if that's what you mean.

At some point, those Republicans who are currently staying quiet will eventually crack. It's all a matter of time.

Do you equate Senate investigations into possible political collusion with a hostile foreign power as crying and gnashing of teeth? Is Comey crying? Mueller? The judiciary who have ruled against his travel bans - are they doing this through eyes filled with tears?

Do you just lump literally everyone who acts or speaks in a way which is not supportive of Trump, who is not advancing his agenda, as an SJW soaked in liberal tears?

This is precisely the kind of small minded, petty, binary nonsense I am referring to.

I dont think so. It was never ratified by congress, just by presidential decree. If Obama can decree it then Trump can undecree it.

Why did Trump say that the Paris Agreement gave China an unfair advantage over the US? I'd have thought that America would find it easier to wean itself off coal than China, Brazil or India.

China can continue building coal power stations, and trump is jealous of this as he wants to resurrect the dying American coal mining industry. Actually wants to pollute that planet in order to create some jobs.

Surely no one in america wants the kind of air quality seen in parts of china?

My prediction?

Nothing substantial will be discovered and Trump will serve his full term

There... I called it.

USA has 5 times less population and much better coal tech (which equates cleaner burning) also mines are much further from big cities than in China where you have mines literally in suburbs.

anything that upsets the previous incumbent of the White house has to be a good thing. We had Tony Blair another self serving narcissist but
BO is on another level of stench altogether.
