That is not the beautiful news. Spicer was entertaining.
Pity.

Another former fund raiser, sold his investment firm at the beginning of the year to the chinese, was due to be sworn in then but Preibus objected.
Another sign Trumps pulling the rug from current incumbants?

Because of his antics you might think his support would melt away.

However, in one area he has been wildly successful, and his supporters know it.

The courts. After Obama there was a record level of vacancies in the judiciary, caused by McConnell's successful go slow strategy. Since then Trump has been working at record pace to fill the vacancies with extreme conservatives.

There are also potentially two vacancies coming up in the Supreme Court...Kennedy and Ginsberg.

This will be the Trump legacy...a massively conservative judiciary with a long,.long life. We may be incredulous now and laugh at this person..but there are major long term consequences .

Ulysses Grant's was good & JFK's is worth examining for sheer shenanigans before you get even to the brink of armageddon.

Sean Spicer did the worst job in politics for the last 180 days all for £150k per year.

Or a lot less than a lot of BBC presenters who say

"Oh hello, this is football"
"Oh hello, this is dancing"
"Oh hello, this is a radio show that I get millions for and if you only own a radio then you need to pay bugger all for tv licence wise... "

Sort of thing.

I will miss Sean, he got given the poison chalice and it soon turned out how poisoned it was, he was not expecting it. People still in power are still getting to grips with it.

I think in hindsight he will come up Trumps

No, don't picture that.

He didn't quite have to look so incompetent though. I mean I know it didn't help with the donald saying wildly different things after his staff all tried to support or cover him, but he was the one making ridiculous statement, then stopping audio and video recording so they could then deny it ever happened.

I also remember he hid in a bush, hid away from difficult discussions sending out lambs to the slaughter instead.

You're on to something there. Grant was a great soldier & a lousy president & he was a great soldier before he was a lousy president.

Well considering his previous job which was doing the same but in a more stable environment I do think it was out of the frying pan into the blast furnace and his had to learn ( die? ) on the job.

How would you have done? Fair question I think.

These folk who are good in one life and do another. It can sometimes work out well though, some people who have gone to capital hill have done a good job from another life.

Spicer said he would resign if Scaramucci got the job and he did. First principled thing he's done in a year.

Bannon said that Scaramucci would get the job "over my dead body" and Preibus was also against the appointment. Watch out for more resignations!
