Who is "they"?
His supporter base.
Which constitutes how much of the American population?

His strategy seems to attack everybody - even those who were seemingly loyal to him (like Jeff Sessions) so, if he continues along this route, there won't be a voter base left.

What is it with the Dems and IT?

Hey Unrep, as a party insider, whats the deal here?
No party is immune, if this blows up in the Dems face then it will be interesting. Why has trump not jailed Hillary yet?
Good old fashioned fraud? They wired a lot of money abroad, wife and kids follow it and he tries to do the same?

That's what they are holding him on, there is a much bigger back story here (as in, why is he doing a runner for a small chunk of cash).

Meanwhile, Scarramucci tweated the following last night then deleted it:

“In light of the leak of my financial disclosure info which is a felony. I will be contacting @FBI and the @TheJusticeDept #swamp @Reince45”

Accusing his boss of leaking and the FBI etc to investigate?

"In case there's any ambiguity in his tweet I can confirm that Scaramucci wants the FBI to investigate Reince for leaking."
https://twitter.com/RyanLizza/status/8904116408811...

He later deleted his tweet and responded that it was about ending leaks
http://heavy.com/news/2017/07/anthony-scaramucci-r...

However the New York Times reported that the financial disclosure form was not filed in connection to his new job as communications director, but for his short-lived job working in the administration for the Export-Import Bank. The report was filed June 23, and can be requested by anyone 30 days after the government receives it, the Times reports, making it publicly available on July 23.

“Asked why he thought the report had been leaked illegally, Mr. Scaramucci responded by text: ‘They aren’t in process yet.’ But when told his form could be released on July 23, he did not respond further,” the Times writes.

You sure? Even Breibart are reporting this as a fraud story

Thing is, if there is wrong doing then chase it and prosecute it. Our MPs showed up well, or not.

Yep....because even the self-interested, bible-bashing, corrupt, and morally & ethically bankrupt GOP members are starting to realise that he may not be so good for the GOP electorally. But if he starts playing the "God Card", he may keep their support.

I'm sure there is a bigger back story yes, whether that is more than just sheer criminality time will tell. He seems to be a proper scum bag, you're right though, Breitbart have backed right off this story, very quickly. That is a story in and of itself.

So give us your thoughts then, or links to other things that you've read. What do you think the story is?
I don't think $250K is small cash in Pakistan

Oh Byker why do you get so defensive. If you read a little deeper on this you'd see that this guy is connected via someone he owes money to, to the Bush administration. That may explain why BB backed off double quick. They might all be nothing but a bunch of con men but it shows how easily the powers that be get taken in.

I've tried to find stuff on more reputable websites but as is often the case these days, the stories are being broken elsewhere.
http://dailycaller.com/2017/02/20/exclusive-house-... - note the date.
https://www.steynonline.com/7997/flight-and-fancy
http://dailycaller.com/2017/02/21/congressional-co... - a bit paranoid but Dr Al-Attar is rather dodgy and here is the connection to the Bush admin.

The Dems are a rather sloppy when it comes to selecting an IT partner.

Sorry couldn't find anything other than a common fraud and sending the money out the country and trying to follow it.
The fact he did IT for one of the political parties was just his employment?

It sounded like you thought there was something much more sinister

That speech was so embarrassing I had to watch it from behind the couch. This guy is not just a disgrace to America, he is a disgrace to humans.

I disagree. The st has really hit the fan here over it with almost universal condemnation. Many people saying they are going to remove their kids from the scouts etc.. I think he was absolutely forced to apologize to stem the bleeding.

It's distraction again, I think, with a bit of a side benefit of keeping the loony fundamentalists happy. If the news is full of stories about Trump tweeting something outrageous there's less room to talk about Browders testimony to the senate about oligarchs and the Magnitsky Act and implications for Trump jnrs meeting about 'Russian orphans'.
