I think you're missing my point.

It's the "foaming base" who don't want to pay for other people's healthcare. And that's why most of the GOP are happy to vote for any bdized hybrid healthcare model that Trump puts his name to, simply to satisfy the "foaming base". (In fact some of the GOP have refused to vote for it because they think taking health insurance away from 22 million people didn't go far enough!)
