I think there's another reason why he makes your skin crawl, if some of your previous comments are anything to go by on here

Apparently someone sent an envelope with some powder in it to a council, with an SNPout message included.

A leading Yesser describes it thus

And the response in the Scottish Unionist media to these incidences of Unionist terrorism, one of which shut down a Scottish town centre and terrified council staff putting them in fear for their lives? Silence. Compare and contrast with the wall to wall coverage of suspected terrorist attacks directed against the British state.
Is it just me or is comparing a prank with something which definitely wasn't anthrax, and hurt nobody to the various shootings, bombings and stabbings, and deaths by our Eastern muckers slightly over the top?
It definitely wasn't as serious as Jim Murphy being egged, did they ever find that sleeper cell?

he house pictured is o/o £725k and is going to a closing date, which means it will sell for significantly more than the £729k he's talking about. So he's using an £8-900k house to illustrate a point about a £700k one.

On one fat hand he slates MSM spin, and on the other he provides his own WoS brand spin. And sure enough the fkwits in the comments lap it up like he's the second fking coming.

Yessers. Thinking they're clever spotting MSM bias yet can't see the clear bias from other sources just because it happens to suit their agenda. rolleyes
My heart bleeds that someone who can afford a SECOND house @ £700K has to pay a tax differential that will help fund public services

What % of the population will the tax actually affect?
No surprise you've completely missed the point of the post.

But as you say not many folk buy second homes, fewer still at £700k. So it'll raise, erm... fk all.

Nat logic.

Out in Elgin town centre for a Scottish day (pipe bands and stalls that sort of thing) walked right past Angus Robertson. There was an SNP marquee thing but right opposite was a Scottish conservatives one. The SNP stand had about 2 folk at it, Torie one had about 10 folk at it, this stayed like that for a good hour.

I will be staying up late cone the GE to hopefully see Robertson lose this seat to a much more liked and decent guy in the Tory camp.

Would love him to lose his seat, make sure everyone you knows votes and votes against him, my GF lives in Nairn and I am persuading her to make sure all her pals vote against him.

I have a good friend that lives close to there in Auldearn, he tells me most of the folk he knows that live around there are not voting SNP, good on them, Robertson's party has been well sussed by the Scottish Electorate, they have massively misjudged the intelligence of the Scots.

It says a lot about the journalists from the Central Belt when Crathes is described as Blair Witch Territory!

It's barely 10 minutes drive along an A-road from the edge of Aberdeen City!

I'd hate to see what he thought if they ever organised something in The Cabrach or Corgarff! laugh

That will be no problem in Tower Hamlets...200% of the population will vote by post!

Seriously though, what kind of lame excuse is this? Do Muslims just shut down during Ramadan, like a toy with no batteries? Saying that they will not be able to vote is pretty damn condescending
My limited experience is that they're no different during ramadan except for the usual signs of hypoglycaemia, followed by stuffing their faces like pigs greedy animals other than pigs at sundown.

Oh, I dunno, I went to school with a lad who grew up in a Muslim household, very strict parents, he used to come round to my place for good old xbox co-op sessions, that and the cans of lager and bacon butties that were on offer, he used to brush his teeth before going home hehe

Your thread is this way.rolleyes

To get back on-topic, it is a cheap shot by Humza, and in reality plays on the ignorance of the majority of people wrt Ramadan. My workplace caters for a majority Muslim clientele, and over half the staff are Muslim. When the date of the GE was announced I heard not one remark of concern about it falling during Ramadan. Most of the discussion revolves around not knowing exactly when Eid will fall (if it is a cloudy night in Morocco they may be waiting an extra day) and the hassle of keeping the food in the fridge and not knowing exactly when to be able to start preparing it.

We may have lost the chance to put health on a sustainable footing, says Anna Gregor, as poll shows most voters believe service is worse

But it's all the Toaries' fault, dontcha know (or at least that is the lie the SNP are telling their followers).

Both are wholly devolved issues, and the education system of Scotland has always been different from that of the rUK with policy never having been set by Westminster, but the SNP don't let those facts get in the way of a good manufactured grievance based on total lies.

I have not expressed a view on anything I've not witnessed and I don't presume that my anecdote applies to all muslims, but passing through the Suez Canal during Ramadan gave me the opportunity to watch egyptians celebrate the end of their fasts and it invariably involved communal eating and tables groaning under the weight of food. Or are you being offended on their behalf because I made a pork joke? How very modern.

It's been a while since I was on pistonheads. Surprised this thread is still going!

I see a recent poll had support for independence at just 40% - https://www.politicshome.com/news/uk/constitution/...
