Oh dear Mr Muckaye you silly silly man, not very clever are younono. So another SNP scandal hits the headlines, this one just couldn't
have happened at a better time. Ever more ammunition for those who wish to prevent the SNP from destroying our United Kingdom,
keep them coming.

And March just round the corner, I wonder what new scandals are waiting to be brought to light then.

Beggars belief that some Scot's want to hand our country over to these scoundrels, all motivated to fulfill and satisfy
there own personal desires, no wonder they are making such a disaster of running the country when its stuff like this
that's at the forefront of their daily agenda.

SNP, Rogues and Hoodlums the lot of them, the time for a party that can truly look after Scotland and it's people is long overdue.

Astonishingly good timing if you don't like the guy, or see him as a threat...

eh Joanna?
It's great that he resigned (and I hope the police get involved) because he is clearly a complete moron.
Has he committed a crime? I'm not sure that he has, given what we currently know. His behaviour is obviously pretty shameless though, regardless of the legality.

Sturgeon - allegedly covering up her homosexuality
Sorry, but how is that "sleaze"?
If, as has been alleged, she is married to the SNP big chief for convenience/political/career purposes, whilst shacked up in one of her other taxpayer funded houses with her lesbian lover... how would it not be?

Alternatively it is none of our business. Providing each side knows, how is it "sleaze" rather than just an unconventional love life?

Sleaze means "immoral, sordid, and corrupt behaviour or activities."

Immoral? No, if the husband/lover are aware.
Sordid? No, if the husband/lover are aware.
Corrupt? I fail to see any corruption. Providing the house, etc is declared and is in the rules.

Fair point, except that if true then Sturgeon has chosen to maintain a pretence to give a false image to the electorate. Remember that she represents a party that claims to be strong on diversity and LGBT issues.

As one of her constituents I'd quite like to know if she's lying to me or not. Her entire position, and the SNP's is based upon her and her husband's grip on the party machine. If this is a sham we should know about it.

What you or I think is moot anyway. I guarantee if it is true and gets out it will be a major scandal, and rightly so.

With that logic Prince Andrew hasn’t physically committed any crime either but his position is untenable.

This Sad SNP chap too is untenable - we should see a demand for a bi election.

This thread was the first thing I thought of when I read about Derek McKay this morning.

Standing down as Finance Secretary is not enough, he should be sacked from his role as MSP immediately.

You do know she is lying to you about independence, so you can assume she lies about other things.

Likewise the Bolander one, I can't get excited about it as she was really hounded out for only spending within her allowance. And although I love 'SNP Out' she didn't actually do much wrong, it was just how it looked (to some).
It's a fair point. Distasteful given the SNP diktat for being above the other political types, but within the rules.

Problem is now Cherry has a free run.

SNP could really do with a leadership contest. Having to think for themselves would make most of the members’ heads explode.
She's a shoe-in, after doing such a great job keeping Scotland in the EU.

As has been noted frequently in the annals of this thread, the SNP are soft on dealing with sleaze and inappropriate behaviour within their own ranks. Openly bigoted sectarian John Mason is still an MSP, for example. Moira Shemilt is still a SNP councillor despite sending xenophobic messages to an (English) BBC correspondent.

However, I expect MacKay will take the decision himself because he will not want the continual public scrutiny of his private life.

And before any woke freaks defend it, it's not the fact he's gay, or the fact the schoolboy is technically legal, it's the fact he was married with kids, then decided he was gay, now lives with his boyfriend but still thinks it fine to chase schoolboys. Allegedly.

If he was a teacher it would be outlawed. I'm not sure being our finance minister makes it any more palatable tbh. But it's probably just a UK gov plot to discredit the indy movement. That's what the Salmond trial is according to the comments I've just been reading on Wings. They're actually hoping he comes back to save their dreams hehe
I have no issue with whatever sexuality the guy is, but to behave like that with a 16 year old schoolboy is completely and utterly unacceptable and unforgivable.

That could be said of virtually any political party.

I thought there was a law against the grooming of children, he's calling a 16 year old boy 'cute' and stalking him on line.
