Snap General Election?

Part of me almost wonders if some parts of the party realise how much in-party backstabbing will go on if they get a huge majority, and they're leaving the goal open a bit as a result to try and avoid that.
Traditionally the Tories are much better at fighting elections than this.
My theory is that with all the earlier talk of a landslide, they're worried that their voters either won't bother turning out ("the Tories are going to win anyway, so I needn't bother") or will consider voting Labour ("the Tories are going to win anyway, so we need a strong opposition").Traditionally the Tories are much better at fighting elections than this.
So they're deliberately letting it slide a bit in order to mobilise people.
Either that or their campaign team is st.
Applying Occam's Razor to the problem would lead us towards the second explanation...in fact, who is the "Tory campaign team" these days? Anyone know who's in charge?

in terms of Brexit, it cannot be the Tories. Guaranteed fail.
In terms of Brexit it's the best option. Clearly.deadslow said:
only if you, for tribal reasons, would rather vote for a guaranteed epic fail over a possible/likely fail. The Tories have shown their negotiating abilities with the EU. They were handed their arses. They are weak.
That's a nonsense comparison and you know it.There's a massive difference between Cameron going to the EU with nothing to trade and May going to the EU with the backing of the result of an EU referendum and having triggered Article 50. I'm amazed you don't understand that.

They aren't brilliant, but given the absence of senior negotiating or long term front bench experience from any other party, I'd place my future with the Tories any day, even though I voted to stay...turbobloke said:

Not disagreeing at all, but it's fairly likely anyone is going to get their arses handed to them isn't it?
You should disagree, as it's clearly nonsense!Actually it's been two months (or about 8.5%) already shouldn't we have seen some initial agreements start to trickle through already?

You think we're going to do alright out of it?! I think we're going to need to lube up.
I don't think i said that! It clearly remains to be seen. However, I think that May is (by far) the right person to get the best available deal.I am concerned we haven't heard anything related to deals after two months though. Surely something is in the process of being a fair distance along?

Labour have a hidden pair of assets
They haven't wheeled them out yet, probably saving them for this week. They will make a difference and the common touch all too lacking by some politicos will do well for them.
