This is Antifa, or anti fascist action. Basically the embodiment of thuggery, violence and vandalism centred around hard-left rhetoric.
/pol is a subforum/board on the chans which have become centres of this new and edgy "alt right". From what i've seen it's a mixture of some of the quickest sourcing of news and vile views on the internet. Yet the vile views are steeped in not taking it seriously. /pol can be considered the right wing version of Reddit.
Does Reddit have a political stance? What is it? I thought it was just porn videos!?

Reddit has many subforums dedicated to groups like antifa, anarchists and even good old Jeremy Corbyn, it's known more in the internet circles as quite hard left in general.
