Her behavior had an impact on her votes. Wikileaks just exposed it.
I think the (fake) suggestion that she'd been up to something illegal was what had an impact, The "throw enough mud and it sticks" philosophy....scherzkeks said:
Unfortunately for you, the DNC and Podesta e-mail troves and her mishandling of classified info. are real.
I'm sure they are... That's why HRC and Podesta have resigned and asked for immunity from prosecution ......Oh wait, sorry .... I was confusing them with Michael Flynn....

Russia Truth back in the news. She'd have won if it weren't for those Russian agents at Wikileaks.

I don't necessarily mean war although the way the world is these days there is a st load of that going on around the place. His approach to international events is certainly different and I would say no better or worse than his predecessor.
The so-called political establishment needs a good shake-up, time to try something different. And there are a lot of domestic political issues which need to be dealt with.

Dropping less than a bomb every twenty minutes would be an improvement on Obama. How hard can it be?grumbledoak said:

Colbert Report worked hand-in-glove with Clinton to disseminate CGI propaganda

His assertion that America only ever won wars when he was growing up was total nonsense of the first order.
He said, “When I was young, in high school and in college, everybody used to say we never lost a war. America never lost,” Mr. Trump said. “Now, we never win a war.”
He was born in 1946. So his "school and college years would be 1953 to 1968 or so. I would say that in his "growing up" period America was in the process of losing its most notorious and divisive war ever i.e. Vietnam.
What was Trump doing in that era - watching game shows on TV?
He's telling Americans a story they want to hear. Selling them a myth. Whether it's true or not is incidental, but it's quite possible that people did believe that at the time of the Vietnam war. Maybe not so much afterwards, but myths of national identity are tenacious. The whole "make America great again" spiel is the same thing. He said, “When I was young, in high school and in college, everybody used to say we never lost a war. America never lost,” Mr. Trump said. “Now, we never win a war.”

I can't quite get my head around those that feel that owning a gun is a right, and healthcare is a privilege. The USA is so far behind other western countries in several ways.
In fairness that makes sense if you take a step back. The right to own a tool with which to defend yourself and your loved ones. But NOT a right to have your medical bills footed by someone else if you can't afford them yourself.I'm not saying it's pleasant, but it's consistent. It's a theme of "look after yourself, and take pride in not expecting anyone else to do it for you" which fits with their heritage.

Gun violence is off the charts, and the sound of gunshots were heard every Friday and Sat. evening without fail in my middle-class neighborhood.
A society based on hustling, in which wealth, power, and material goods are pursued above all else, has a way of making human life expendable.
In this sense the old NRA adage "Guns don't kill people, people do" is indeed quite apt. The irony is that many NRA supporters are also quite supportive of the societal values that create the problem.

Whereas the style of debate on this and the other Trump thread is of high standand?? If you call the constant "bellend","small hands","Looser" (yes spelt that way),"orange" etc, great debate then I dont know what to say.
Im still waiting for the answer to my question, yet still nothing, but Im in the wrong because you cant fathom my answer?
Try looking at your own 'side' more critically.
Just because a country has a different way of doing things doesnt make them "far behind".
Im sure they think we're far behind not having all our police armed esp. when ones just been stabbed to death,or bonkers for having a health service that anyone in the world can use for free.
Is there anything he can do right in your eyes? I can take my bias hat off and see that he's cocked up certain things as I've said earlier in the thread.
Would anything short of world peace be enough for you?
You really took my bellend comment (on page 4) to heart didn't you? If I'd known it would have caused so much whining, I wouldn't have held back so much. It's his apologists/defenders who are the real scumbags. Im still waiting for the answer to my question, yet still nothing, but Im in the wrong because you cant fathom my answer?

Colbert just said what over half the US are thinking...It is hard watching Colbert go down the Truther rabbit hole though.
Oh I dunno there was a lot of truth in...
“Trump has repeatedly said that this 100 days is totally arbitrary, okay. Totally unimportant. And to prove how unimportant it is, he took out a TV ad, he cut a cake on Air Force One, and he held a rally in Pennsylvania,” Colbert said. “The theme of that rally, ‘Promises Made, Promises Kept.’ Which is better than the original slogan, ‘Promises made, never mind, never said it, fake news, watch Fox & Friends.’ ”
Plus he's apologised for using cruder words than necessary
Folks, if you saw my monologue Monday, you know that I was a little upset with Donald Trump for insulting a friend of mine,” Colbert said. “So, at the end of that monologue, I had a few choice insults for the president in return. I don’t regret that. I believe he can take care of himself. I have jokes; he has the launch codes. So, it’s a fair fight.”
This was also funny - his one on one interview
