Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott caused alarm late on Monday by innocently wandering into the gents in the Commons. After a man standing at the urinals pointed out her mistake, she said ‘Sorry’ – before calmly heading to one of the cubicals and closing the door.

Someone told her the women's toilets were the third door on the left, so she lost count

Just thought I'd check. Even for the Daily Hate that would be a bit punchy. Still unnecessary IMO. It's not like there isn't enough material on her without resorting to such 'wit'.

It's the name of the column, why should they change it because this weeks subject matter happens to be black and unattractive?

As if a paper would make such an obvious insult, especially towards someone so easily insulted.

Looking at the comments on the Mail link, I despair of the idiocy on display who think the title was a personal slight on Abbott.

Isn't 'Black Dog' a euphemism for depression?

What could be a more depressing sight than seeing Abbott waddling along the pavement counting the steps to her destination.

Nah, if anyone who can count adds 6 and 9 together they make 15. Add 1 and 5 and you are back to 6. On her own again.

Is it true when leaving the Gents toilet she looked back and said " I'd give cubicle 1 a minute if I where you"
