Just watched that on iPlayer. My God Abbot was awful! She inspires zero respect, zero confidence and gives no inkling that her reasoning or judgement are in any way to be trusted.

Me too, she’s a car crash and I’m amazed Labour allow her to do interviews any more.

She's a sniff away from holding the seat of Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for the Home Department.

The world is fked up.

Another storming performance

"You seem to be reading from a Tory script"

I doubt she even wants the job. Too much work, under the spot light. The true horror of her incompetence will be all too clear. I’d give her 6 months in the job and she’ll retire

Her smile at the end of the Tory script line disappeared very quickly. hehe

Absolutely no qualms about trying to besmirch Maitlis and being well and truly hung out to dry though. Vile.

I agree.

She seems to be barely surviving in any situation that requires a modicum of wit - kind of throwing stock phrases around glued together with "what you need to understand is...". It's a bit like how I play the piano - a few simple chords with a some jolly bits in the middle.

I am in some sort of personal denial that Labour would ever get in - it just seems insane that they'd even have a chance.

Well she's  looking to crush her enemies. See them driven before her. And to hear the lamentations of their women...
