But if she’s so bad, who keeps voting her in?
You could stick a red rosette on a jobby - and her constituents would still vote for the jobby.Translation here:

I think she has a point on jobs. We don't value vocational education, semi skilled jobs moved abroad. Large companies are not bringing apprentices through. Some companies have been getting employees from Europe instead. Etc. Etc. That's not to say there aren't any jobs, or hope, of course.
I also think part of the problem is the victim mentality. We are teaching kids that they won't get a good job, Will never be able to own a house, or retire etc

I totally agree. What I found insulting it the suggestion that people are only suitable for a particular type of work because of the social class they were born into.I also think part of the problem is the victim mentality. And not just that. It’s not ok to get all shabby just because you don’t have a job. The woman in the audience denying these youth are in gangs. Dream on love. The exterminator guy was a bit scary
Agree. You usually find the 'ethnic' members of the audience are in total denial about who's mainly involved in knife crime and talk down the benefits of SAS, while everyone else knows damn well what the problem is but daren't say it (apart from exterminator guy that is - who's right).Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
