Go and read the studies on this, then come back. Some of them are over 20 years old, so it's not really a new idea.

WHAT??
Isnt it a case that people that are transgender are in the wrong body? Or is transgender a new word for transvestite?

Nope, I am not that concerned about it tbh, certainly not enough to read studies on a issue that affects less than 1% of the population. It does sound crazy when you first read that though, I am sure you will disagree but you seem more involved in this subject than myself!

I often pop in here and have commented a little, so not new to it, someones gender is of no importance to me and I wouldn't treat them differently based on gender.

What would your reaction be if you slept with a woman then after the event you found out they used to be a man?

Apologies for the double post. I hope it is now deleted.

I'm off to read most of the 274 pages on this thread so I can legitimately comment on the last few. I may be gone some time. But then that's what 8.4L was after when he completely ducked my question and told me to RTFT.

For the lurkers.....you will never get a straight answer to the question I posed. i.e assuming self-ID becomes a thing........in this bold new world where anyone can self identify and gain access to women's and children's safe spaces how do we protect them from those with bad intentions?

Ciao!

PS trans ally argument No2. I.e 'it would be too much trouble for a bad'un to identify as a woman to commit crime they would just walk in and do their stuff' is disproved on a very regular basis. If anyone wants I can dm link after link after link of instances where someone did indeed identify to commit a crime - usually a sex crime!

250 pages of the usual suspects trying to bully the normal people into thinking they are wrong and that it is wrong to be upset after having sex and finding out you had stuck your pride and joy inside a man made vagina

Oh FFS, just let it go. What is your utter, utter obsession with this?

If you are entering into a relationship with someone, then these things will come out as part of the dating thing. There are all sorts of things that will contribute to attraction or lack of. You are rather flattering yourself if you think a trans woman is going to try to dupe you - she'll run a mile from you long before that. It's in her interests to sound you out as to whether or not you are going to react negatively.

Because that would be so totally disgusting wouldn't it. That might make you gay or something. And not a real man. Or some st like that or whatever.

And you are rather flattering yourself that she would want to let you stick your "pride and joy" there.

You are physically born either a male or female (minute amount of people born with rare medical conditions aside), this process happens when the egg is first fertilised, from then on physical characteristics such as appearance start to take shape. For this reason you would be able to tell who was born a male or a female. I would imagine this would become more apparent the more intimate you got?

As for my personal feeling, cant even imagine it tbh so have no idea, I am happily married so not something I have ever or really will need to think about!

No they wouldn't be part of the dating thing on the run up to sex, not if you had your way as back on p290 or similar you were saying that a trans woman has no need to declare or make it know she used to have he-bits between her legs

You are assuming that
a) every woman finds you so incredibly attractive that she wants to sleep with you no matter what (including concealing her history)
b) trans women are all duplicitous and are out to trick you
c) she is so convincing that you can't tell her history. Which, given that you seem to think that all trans women look like a bloke in a dress, seems unlikely.
d) you're actively looking for sexual partners. Which, given you have said you are in a committed relationship, you aren't.

It's basically just not going to happen. Yet you come back to it again, and again, and again, and again. You're utterly obsessed with it.

Typical snowflake as I never once stated or assumed that:
a.) every woman finds me attractive that she wants to sleep with me no matter what
b.) trans women are all duplicitous and are out to trick me (I just assume you, World Boss and 8.4L would be as you all claimed you wouldn't feel it necessary to tell a prospective mate you used to hang out with your wang out)
c.) I watched theres something about Miriam, I'd have been forgiven for sleeping with her and not realising she was born a male... well except for the fact that are the time she still could rock out with her cock out
d.) Until 2 years ago I was but now I am in a relationship with a woman I'm not - but the scenarios are hypothetical

I'm not obsessed with it, you just never gave a proper answer to it and instead you and the other two just went on the attack rather than accepting a view you said it was just wrong - well not telling a man you used to be a man and then sleeping with him is the same as rubber cock girl

Oh, you're such a victim aren't you.

To be absolutely clear, I would never sleep with anyone that I wasn't in a committed relationship with and was absolutely sure wasn't a rampant transphobe who would react negatively to me. And part of being sure would be to find out how they felt about people like me.

Does that assuage your fears in any way?

Indeed, George you are very much obsessed with this scenario. And to be fair, it has been answered by CC and others many times. In that it is a very un-likely event, as said before any trans woman will have sussed pretty quickly when on a date that the person they're dating is not the sort that would want to have sex with them and will just call it a night and move on. There, that's your answer, it's not the one you want, but it is the most likely scenario, there is an infinitesimally small chance that any trans woman would want to dupe a bloke in to sex.

And to compare it to the story of the blind-folded girl is entirely disingenuous and not even remotely comparable.

I predict it wont because he is trying to get a reaction from you, you are probably wasting your time.

You can tell from his language that he subtly trying to offend!

Because self-ID isn't a factor here.

Whether self ID is a thing or not, a sexual predator can gain access to a place and commit a sexual assault on anybody, at any time. This is not suddenly made easier because they can dress up as a woman to do it.

I'm interested in these "children's safe spaces" you speak of - what are they please?
