What is the end goal for the trans community?

As far as I know they have the same rights as everyone else in the country. What else do they want?
To be treated with the same dignity and respect as cis people would be a good start.

Me and my fellow cisters don't get much respect in this thread.

Weird, I've not once felt attacked by anybody in here over my gender. Maybe... It's you?

Maybe it is me.

But the fact that someone doesn't give me respect has no bearing on my life at all.

That'll be because of your straight, white male privilege wink

I struggle to see how bigotry and intolerance are ever right.

But I'll continue to argue that I should be treated with respect and tolerance, and you (and those aligned with you) can continue to argue that I shouldn't. History will show which of us is on the right side, just like it did with the Civil Rights Movement, the Gay Rights Movement, etc. Opinions that seemed perfectly reasonable and "right" back then would very much not be today. And perhaps the same will be true of transphobia in the future.
Where have I argued you shouldn’t be treated fairly?

No. It's more to do with my lack of victim mentality.

I don't think anybody in this thread has.

Classic case of victim mentality.

You don't have to give in to the societal pressure of being au fait with such issues and imparting a thorough education to your children on something that no one really understands.

Not to undermine your concerns but I'd like to think your presence at least ensures her safety, while adult women often feel threatened in the opposite scenario, a fear they're made to feel bigoted for expressing.
Well there is a bit of irony here.

Any feeling of being threatened your talking about doesn't come from a long history of trans-women attacking other women in changing rooms, but from a long history of cis-men attacking women in pretty much any situation.

Even when protesting about this very issue, cis-males can't help but threaten a female.

Oh, I'm sorry. I guess I shouldn't worry my pretty little head about it then.

I'm curious how you get that from an article that states 'In yesterday’s statement, Dr Gaborik said there was no “evidence that the male students were threatening any student or using any type of force toward other students.”'?

So trans women using the toilet for its intended purpose is a threat to cis women. Yet a cis male blocking a girl in the toilet is fine. Hmm. Can I eat a piece of that regenerating cake.

Well you’ve nothing to worry from anyone on here that I can see from Emmy privilege position as a CIs white male.

However you consistently try to rubbish genuine concerns from cis people as it either doesn’t suit your position or you don’t believe we are entitled to have some reservations (cart wheeling trans cocks in my daughters face for example)

Unlike homosexuality, here you are telling us that a man can have a baby without acknowledging that he is a he legally but not naturally- this is a huge difference and approach than two same sex people tonsil wrestling

Transition isn’t as straight forward as you like to portray. The law says I can drive at 60mph on nsl back roads, it doesn’t mean it’s always ok to do so - as I’ve slways said I support and recognise the right to be a trans person but there’s got to be some limits to protect cis sensibilities and concerns such as not entering female changing rooms until you are fully transitioned.

Erm, no I don't. Or, as you would retort "Show me where I did that!" - you always push the burden of proof onto the other person.

Also, you are misattributing the cartwheeling cocks - I didn't say that. Although I did find it funny.

You really have a strange way of showing it.

- Constantly throwing around labels then complaining that there are too many labels.
- Repeatedly using "a trans" even when you've been told many times this is rude.
- Repeatedly posting deliberately inflammatory statements with an obvious intent to cause offense.

Then, to top it off, complaining about it when you receive any kind of response that is even remotely like the type of treatment you are more than happy to dish out.

If your qualifying equality for trans people with restrictions on their ability to participate in society then that is not equality. It's second class citizens.
