You really don't. The graphic you've used is in the link below, and it explains why you're talking rubbish.

HTH

[b]Ps rather than trying to use FGM to point the finger at Muslims wouldn't it be more useful to concentrate your energies on stopping FGM?[b]
That's easier said than done isn't it? There is a strong and very vocal movement to try and stop it, but there is STILL massive complacency in abundance by governments in numerous countries who are failing to fully get behind stamping it out.

We should be focussing in the UK. we could even link it to immigration status/eligibility (I don't know how but it would get across our standards and expectations to newcomers)

However I think people like PotatoSalad don't really give a monkey's about stamping out FGM, they just want to stop immigration, and this is a handy pretext.

I see another thread has drifted off course.....

It's a fair question unless I am reading it wrong. What do the city council want money for?

I know the best part of 15 million had been raised and rising for those affected.

It reads like a money grab for increase in demand of services from the Council. When the majority of these services are actually delivered by charities anyway, particularly in the field of mental health.

I read Burnham was on his way to the States to meet with other mayors and has been calling out Trump for the leaks.

It did cross my mind if the Americans hadn't leaked what they did whether the lone wolf nonsense the authorities had started pushing would have continued.

I'm increasingly not a fan of Brunham. Seems to love his face in the media and has remained completely silent in questioning Didsbury Mosque when everything I've read points towards a management committee that have tried to hide that they hired someone who fought alongside terrorists and is a member of an organisation that is recognised as a terrorist organisation. As far as I'm aware that same imam is still employed and teaching his brand of religion to a new generation of young people.

If he's so strapped for cash, why the jaunt to America. Half the cities in the US are bankrupt anyway, is he looking for the fastest way to do the same to Manchester as well.

Faith leaders from across Greater Manchester met to discuss how communities can tackle terrorism in the wake of the Manchester Arena attack.

Shaykh Naqeeb ur Rehman and Shaykh Hassan Haseeb ur Rehman have worked for years to promote peace and campaign against terrorism. They visited the UK as a show of solidarity with the British people.
They sound like lovely peaceful men.

Pakistani 'hate preacher' who glorifies Islamist murder welcomed by Archbishop of Canterbury

The robot in 10 Downing Street says, with a straight face, there is "far too much tolerance of extremism” in the UK and "enough is enough". Yet these men are still granted visas to preach here (for at least the second summer running).

More about these lovely men of peace who are going to help us fight extremism in the uk.

We're sending Salman Abedi's remains to Libya so his family can bury him.

They should just dump him in the sea.

The Guardian is for left-wingers what the Daily Heil is for right-wingers.

It should be treat with equal contempt. Insinuating that they have any journalistic skill at all should be an affront to journalists everywhere.

It's an opinion piece rag which thrives on courting controversy and nothing more.

I can confirm that this is the first week I've ever heard 'BAME' (not on this thread, by the way). I'd like to mark this point in history; we are going to hear it constantly for the next 20 years.
